There are two eco parks about 5 mins apart. One is Ambar which is the popular one. But we went in Dhara, as we were told it offers better views.
The entry is rs. 25 per person. The park offers a defined path through the woods that is not very tough for most people.
The trek to the top (potato farms) takes around 20 mins.
The views are good once you reach to the top with expansive views of the terrace farms. It is a good place to relax and sit on the grass to soak up the sun. For better views, you can also roam about a bit on top for different views of the mountains and valley.
On the way down, we stopped at the only maggi shop inside the park for some maggi and tea.
Good place for friends or family too, where kids can enjoy some activities such as swings and slides. They have other activities too such as burma bridge and net climbing.
On the whole, a good place to spend around 2 hours, if good uninterrupted view is what you are looking for.

The park is huge and is lined with really tall trees around. It is at a great height so ine can see clouds passing by through the trees. There are lot of activities for kids such as wall climbing rope Bridge etc. The weather was really good when we visited. It had rained some time before and it was really cold as it is at an height of more than 6000 feet above sea level.

This is a simple park with lot of old trees and well maintained trails. It would not take you more than 30-60 mins to cover the park and if you are quiet then you can spot a bunch of birds. The walk is pretty simple and most people can take it. On clear day one can get a nice view of the snow capped himalayan ranges.

If you are travelling from mussoorie for this, then ensure that you cover the temple called surkhanda devi which is about 5 kms form this park.

Good place for a session of photography. Few swings and view points are the only attraction here apart from the beautiful tree, which more than make up.

We stayed in GMVN Dhanaulti guest house from 23-25 march. There are 2 Eco parks in Dhanaulti - Ambar, just beside GMVN guest house, Dhara - 10 min walk fom Ambar park. Ambar park is bigger with more activities. Entrance fee is 25 per head for adults. Opens from 8AM to 6PM. Ambar park has see saw, swings, sleeps for children. It also has a trail walk along the jungles. It has chargeable activities like Flying Fox, Buddha Bridge, and rope climbing. One govt shop is inside which sells good woollen clothes and honey @ 650 per kg. Outside Eco park, here are 4-5 shops which sell good tea, coffee, maggi, potato and onion pakoras, maize. Overall, nice place to relax with your children. Since we were staying just beside the park, so we were everytime hearing the enjoyment people were having. Beware of wild monkeys. They will attack if they see food in your hand.
