We drove there from England with a family of four back in June 2019, me, my wife, and two kids, son 6 and daughter 2. We loved it, the cabin is very suitable for a young family of four. The cabin had two bathrooms and a BBQ pit outside along with a picnic table outside. One room had a master bedroom with the other room had twin beds. The living room/kitchen was big enough for us and of course the TV was playing Disney. The people at reception was very wonderful and helpful. We had a package deal with buffet meals at selected restaurants and breakfast included. We ate at the Ranch the first night using one of our vouchers and the food was actually very good. If we had to pay out of pocket, we would look for something else since it's very expensive for a family of four. The bar was very good, a little expensive too, but the drinks were good. We also had access to the pool which was very nice. The breakfast in the morning where we had to pick it up at the huts were actually not bad and we would take what we had left with us as snacks inside the Disney parks. Getting to the Disney parks from the Ranch is actually easy and to get into the ranch, you have to show the security guard your pass to get inside the premises. The only issue we had was the parking. You have to back into the spot instead of regular parking. We would stay again after COVID.

We actually stayd there a couple of times as we loved the place, but after last visit not going back there anymore, till Ranch installs cameras everywhere as we had unwelcomed night visitor to the cabin. Unfortunatelly he escaped, but luckily didn't managed to steal anything as my mom woke up and scared him away. We have idea who was it, but have no proof.
Just WANNA WARN ALL FAMILIES STAYING THERE- MAKE SURE YOU REALLY LOCK THE DOORS AND CLOSE WINDOWS!!!! BE SAFE.

My favourite place at disneyland to stay. the cabins are amazing and perfect for the kids to be able to spend some time out of the park and then go swimming or the park. Theres also a bar and they do the most amazing cocktails. its only a 10 minute drive to the park too which is ideal.
easy to come and go as you please!

I stayed here with my partner in January this year. We had a cabin for four people even though it was the two of us as it actually worked out cheaper!
The cabins are clean and aren’t bad accommodation. Of course the inside is decorated to match the western theme which is quite charming but a little out dated. It would have been quite a squeeze of four people had been staying in our cabin. There was a little outside area with decking that had a BBQ but as it was cold January weather we didn’t use it.
The cabin came with a fridge, microwave and hob but unfortunately no oven which was a shame as we went to a local supermarket and bought a pizza ( we were unable to cook) for dinner. We wanted to self cater to try and save money but wasn’t that doable with what we had in the kitchen so we ended up going to the restaurant on site.
The restaurant buffet was pricey but the food was great! They had a big variety of mains and puddings! There is something for everyone! As someone with a sweet tooth I went to the pudding section a few times! We ended up eating there most of the nights we stayed as we were tired after a day at Disney so just wanted something easy!

Now for the cocktails! There is a very cute tavern located opposite the restaurant which is really nice if you want a place to chill out and have a drink in the evening! If you are staying here it’s definitely worth a trip! There’s a pool table too so good if you need to keep the kids entertained. Me and my partner went there a few times and each time tried a new cocktail, they even had Star Wars themed drinks which my partner appreciated! The staff were also lovely and friendly.
There is a general store on site too, it does sell quite a lot of different things including drinks, bread, fresh fruit, candy, merchandise etc Again it was quite pricey but to be expected from a resort shop!
There was a breakfast basket we had heard about so my partner went to the little cabins located on the site to pick one up in the morning but unfortunately wasn’t available for some reason as the cabins were permanently shut. So we ended up getting breakfast style food from the general store.
Overall I would say it’s a pretty good place to stay, about 15 minute drive to the park so it’s not too far. Of course you will need a car for this as no shuttle is provided. The cabins are on the basic side but the tavern and restaurant are the highlights of staying here.

We stayed at Davy Crockett Ranch last October for Halloween! We chose the lodges as we were driving to DLP and we like our space. We arrived early so were given our magic passes and told to check in from 4pm. We then made our may to the parks in our car, this took about 10 minutes.

Once we returned (around 6pm ) we were given our keys to the lodge, it’s a big place so if you want to be near amenities then I would request this shortly after booking. The cabin was nice and warm on arriving, and although basic we found it very comfortable. We had two bedrooms a double and a triple and also the sofa converts into a bed (although we didn’t use this) the beds were comfortable and plenty of storage for our 3 night stay. We had a shower room and separate toilet and also an en-suite all had radiators to dry towels on.

The kitchen had a fridge and small freezer NO OVEN but had a two ring hob, microwave, dishwasher and kettle. The kitchen is equipped with cutlery and pots and pans.
You can buy food from the onsite shop but it’s expensive so I would recommend either bringing what you can from the uk or finding a supermarket close to dlp and stocking up.

The journey to the park is not long (around 10mins) but it was a struggle to get there for extra magic hour as once you arrive you have to park the car then walk quite a way to the park before then going through security. This is my only grumble!

We had an amazing first time at dlp and plan to return at Xmas, not at Davy Crockett though as it hasn’t been given an opening date yet. I would recommend Davy Crockett for larger families or families that like a little more space.

Tips... take your own dishwasher tablets
* towels are small so take your own as well
* you will need your own beach towels for the pool.
* pack a lunch and snacks as food is expensive in the parks.
