We stay here each year for one night on our way home to Melb from Phi Phi Island, and we always stay here for our last night in Thailand, and we were surprised to arrive this time and see that the resort has been bought under a new management, has had some major changes and upgrades, new staff, new renovations, new bar, new pool area, new restaurant and so on.... It was a welcome surprise and we loved the new look and feel, new menu and new staff!
Thanks for having us - great food, great room, and great vibe!
Good luck with your new look and we'll see you next year!

Room Tip: The pool villas are the best!

We had stayed there for 10 nights, three generations in a family suite at the second floor (out of 4): Me, my wife, our two daughters (aged 1 and 3) and my elderly parents.
The hotel is relatively new and is well located 5 minutes drive from the airport and literally across the road from Nay Yang beach, a short walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores and even a market which is held 4 times a week. The hotel also provides bicycles for free.
The suite is well designed, spacious, very clean and equipped. Aircons work well. the only drawback is the weak lighting. Suite was serviced daily.
Breakfast buffet was rich and tasty, and catered for both Western and Asian tastes - baked goods, fruit, cheese, stir-fries etc. Coffee was good too. Dining room is very pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor options. Staff was very nice and helpful.
There are two swimming pools, one is really big, as well as other options for activities (gym etc.) and a nice playroom for the young ones
Staff is extremely nice and helpful and speaks goon English.

To sum up, highly recommended and very good value for money if you don't care being out of main touristy areas like Patong.

This was my 5th stay at Dewa Phuket and the first since becoming a part of the Cachet Group of Hotels. I like to book directly with the Hotel and unfortunately due to the change of management structure it took me about 2-3 weeks to arrange my booking due to email and website changes. The room prices also seem higher but that is probably due to the travel season.

May I also suggest that breakfast and airport transfer prices be offered on the Hotel's web booking portal for ALL categories other than just the standard rate (advanced purchase/pre-payment categories etc) to make booking, meal and transfer options easier to choose as it was previously.

However, once over the booking delay, everything was excellent from start to finish. The Junior Suite was beautifully appointed (and on a high floor as requested) and serviced well. All other resort facilities including the restaurants remain at a high standard. However, some of the staff are new and in training so a little patience is needed at times.

The main dining facility has changed to a "barbecue" style restaurant in the evenings and even though a la carte is still available, the menu offerings are a little limited (especially the Thai food). Prices are reasonable but drinks quite expensive.

The drive from the Airport to the Hotel is about 5-10 minutes which is an absolute bonus. To be able to stroll across the road to the beach, have a swim (seasonal) and walk in one direction to see the planes take off and land or if you walk a few minutes in the other direction, there are some beautiful beach front restaurants where you can just relax with a drink and snack or have a full meal.

This Resort Hotel is a hidden gem and I look forward to my return.

This was my third visit to the Dewa. I was a bit concerned that it was not up to the usual standard after reading some current reviews. It is still a 5 star resort! This was the first visit to Thailand for my mum and friend and they couldn't be happier with the resort. We stayed in a pool villa which again was clean and has everything you need (except ice). The service from booking to checking in was so easy and everyone was very helpful. The restaurant, bar and coffee shop staff were friendly and informative. I would still recommend this resort. Also it is only 5mins from the airport. Can't wait to return on my next visit

We loved our stay at Catchet Resort.
Relaxing and beautiful.
New hotel near airport.
Fanstatic service by all the staff.
Across the road from a stunning beach with awesome sunsets and in the parameter of a national park
Its new, so there is not too much around the area; convenience store around the corner and a few restaurants up the road further, but there is signs of huge progress for the area.
Close the the airport.. 10/15 min drive $200 baht.
We booked the villa pool and it was so fantastic. Spacious room and private courtyard.
There is 1 big pool for all, with daybeds and cabana style huts to relax in.
Restaurants and a bar which had happy hour discounts.
You dont need to go anywhere else.. this place has it all.
