Had the most wonderful couple of days at Tottergill Farm - from the welcoming, lovely people who own it to the gorgeous, homely cottage and the amazing views from the hot tub, this genuinely is the most relaxing & beautiful place I have ever been to. Can't wait to return!

I've never felt the need to write a review before, but our three day break at Tottergill was so fantastic, I couldn't not.

The cottages have the perfect balance of coziness and luxury. Every detail has been carefully thought through and it shows. Child friendly, dog friendly and luxury generally don't go hand in hand but Tracey and Barnaby have achieved the perfect blend. Add in the most spectacular scenery, with views to die for, a gastropub within walking distance there's nothing to do except relax and enjoy the hot tub, the open fire or the magical ambience.

Wholly recommend this place for everyone. Thanks so much Tracey and Barnaby for making us so welcome. Were already planning our second (and third) trip.

I couldn't recommend this place enough. Both me and my partner usually opt for 'city breaks' but after our recent hectic work schedules we wanted a weekend of doing nothing but relaxing, eating and walking to little quaint villages and towns and this cottage was perfect in every way. We arrived to tea/coffee and amazing chocolate cake with a log burner all set up and ready to go. The location was picturesque and peaceful along with the owns of Tottergil farm being super! The cottage itself was out of this world. So cosy, weloming, homely and superbly decorated. We stayed in the Oak cottage which had a hot tub which was an extra luxury. Everything you need was in the cottage from a small pint of Milk too your pots and pants including robes and slippers! I struggled to get out of the kingsize bed it was that comfy! Already recommended it to friends and will definitely be booking again soon. Perfect weekend away to re-charge our batteries.

Room Tip: We stayed in the oak cottage (1 room kingsize bed)

My husband and I visited Tottergill with our 9 month old son for 4 nights in October, from the outset Tracey really was very accomadating and welcoming. We stayed in Garth cottage which was in a wonderful position, the views were stunning both from the cottage and the hot tub, we felt really at home and safe in the cottage. Tracey had organised a high chair and travel cot for when we arrived and even had a fire guard for the log burner, which anyone with a young baby or toddler would really appreciate, as we did. The cottage was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained. It was exactly what we wanted for a few nights in the country for a tranquil break and family time. There was even fresh flowers and chocolate cake when we arrived which was lovely! Even though our cottage was between two others it didn't feel like it, it was very private in the garden and hot tub and we never heard the neighbours at all. We will definitely go back there whenever we need a bit of R&R it was just what the doctor ordered :) thanks for having us and especially at such short notice, we only booked 2 days before we went! Thanks again x
