Description: “The Lebanese cafe continues to impress us with its fresh mezze, interesting soft drink selection, snappy service and good looks.” – Time Out The food at Comptoir is fresh, healthy, honest and affordable. Comptoir wakes up early to provide customers with unique Lebanese breakfasts to eat in or take away; offering everything from organic yoghurt topped with pomegranate and orange blossom water, porridge and halloumi cheese and za’atar croissants. Visit for lunch and dinner and enjoy all types of interesting and colourful dishes, including hot and cold mezze – perfectly sized for sharing- wraps, salads, tagines, grills and Man’aesh (Lebanese style pizzas). For dessert, nothing is more authentic than the sweet taste of baklawa – Lebanese pastries in a variety of flavours such as date filled semolina and walnut filled flaky pastry. Drinks include freshly squeezed juices, homemade lemonades and Lebanese inspired cocktails. All products can be packaged up and enjoyed on the go. Comptoir caters well for vegetarians as well as for a gluten free diet. With a friendly team and brilliant red and brushed-chrome industrial stools, bold-patterned turquoise tables and monochrome geometric flooring, Comptoir brightens the rainiest of days.

Walking around Bluewater and wondering what to pick for lunch, noticed that they were giving out tasters at Comptoir Libanais.
The guy on the tasting table was enthusiastic and encouraged me and the kids to try all the different dips and breads on the table.
My kids were impressed (as were I that they were eating houmous and Baba Ganoush without bribery) and so we took a table.
We shared the mezze platter and also the mixed grill.
It was very tasty and they enjoyed everything.
The service was efficient and friendly

As a fan of Lebanese cuisine I persuaded my boyfriend to pop in for a late lunch at this beautifully decorated restaurant. It was the colourful deli counter that caught my attention in the first place. We opted for a portion of Damascus olives and the mezze platter for two with a great selection of tasty cold starters ranging from dips, salads, pickles to halloumi cheese and falafel. I highly recommend the Baba Ghanuj - simply delicious! Our lunch was accompanied by fruity and refreshing home made lemonades. The flavours of our food and drink as well as the decor of the restaurant transported us to the Middle East. The only minor criticism is that the mezze platter should come with a more generous portion of flat bread. And given that the restaurant was very quiet at the time of our visit, service could have been a little bit more attentive to reflect the hospitality of the Middle East. However, overall a good experience, and I would love to come back to try something from the grill.

Lunch for £20 bargain for halfterm, which is what parents like in an expensive week! Lovely veggie choices. Everyone was happy. Pretty stuff to look at around the restaurant too!
