60th Birthday present from my wife, Lanc taxi ride. Fantastic day, all the staff, very helpful and friendly. Rude not to pay extra for the Mosquito taxi ride. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

What a great place don’t know why I have not been before. Lots to see in the hanger and other buildings. NAAFI for food and drink. And to top it off all 4 merlin engines fired up and Lancaster taxis up runway

Very interesting place. Don't except to see lots of planes. They have a Lancaster bomber and a mosquito. They do, however, have lots of interesting information to read about the real lives of the crews etc. The escape museum is very interesting. You need at least 2 hours to get round here. Due to covid you cannot get properly close to the cockpits etc but still worth a visit.

We came to Coningsby to spot some planes & thought it would be a nice idea to pop down here as it was nearby and we had a bit of time to kill before checking into our hotel. We really enjoyed it.
It was £18 for two adults but definitely worth the money when you can see how it’s put back into the site & to help towards the upkeep of the Lancaster.
We got to see this and the mosquito as well as tonnes of other artifacts and different things, we loved seeing all the old photos of the soldiers and all their stories. The site was really well laid out and it wasn’t busy at all which we were surprised at. We unfortunately didn’t see the Lancaster taxying only in the hanger but it was still great. Some of the small attractions were closed presumably due to Covid but plenty for all ages to see & do. We enjoyed the simulations of the black out & the air raid sounds, overall a nice few hours out.

Excellent to see the Lancaster and Mosquito up close. Different types of exhibitions on aircraft restoration, control tower and how the air and ground crew lived on an operational base. Good to see escape exhibition on prisoners of war etc and different I could imaginine it would have been an even better experience to see the Lancaster taxi. Also a good gift shop and cafe looked good although we did not use it.
