We had a good stay here. The rooms are clean/good and the family rooms have a second bedroom, but the bathroom is rather small. Breakfast is OK, the buffet in the evening good as well with a lot of variety but it is very much meat orientated …
The wellness and indoor pool are excellent! The outdoor swimming pool is rather cold. Above all: the small scale, quiet hotel is situated along the lake with a water temperature that is excellent to swim

Recommendations:
1) You can hire a mountain bike for 1 week not for from the hotel @ 20€/week (adult) and 10€/week (child). This makes that you can explore more …
2) You can take the very modern trains (5 minutes walk from the hotel) to arrive in 45min in the centre of Budapest
3) Went to Ballaton lake: Tihany is a beautiful “quiet” less touristic place at the lake with some nice historical buildings, harbour … (as recommended by Trotter)
4) Adventure park “Sobri Jóska kalandpark”: not expensive, excellent for kids between 7-12 years old with lots of different attractions and you can easily spend a whole day in a natural setting!

Spent one night on business. The rooms are nice with interesting LED lights.
The bathrooms are nice and modern but the warm water pressure was barely enough to get a decent shower.
There are additional content as spa and bowling alley.
Also, the conference rooms are a additional plus.

We spent 2 nights / 3 days here with hubby early August. The location and rooms are great, even if you choose the slightly cheaper rooms that do not have lake view. They change towels every three days!!! If you want fresh towels you have to pay. Wi-fi worked well. Spa facilities are good, nevertheless, it was the biggest letdown that no massage time slot was available in 3 days (they gave us a free voucher that we couldn't use). In the outdoor pool you find tap water = cold, even in August. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar prices are outrageous. Catering is good average, breakfast is great. Overall I think the hotel is very overpriced but hey, don't go there in the peak season if you don't like it.

Room Tip: Bring beach towels on your own

The hotel isn't very large and didn't have the many people, which was just as well, because it didn't get crowded at the spa center and other amenities. The rooms are clean, modern, and sizable - unfortunately, my room didn't have a view of the lake both those that did had a lovely view to behold.
The spa center isn't large, and you don't really have the space to swim in the indoor swimming pool while the outside pool was quite cold, however you've got an assortment of saunas if you are into them and a nice jacuzzi. There are also surprisingly plenty of stuff to do in this hotel, including pingpong, squash and even a bowling alley.
The food offered at meals was tasty and diverse - my colleagues and I especially enjoyed their goose meat cooked in berry sauce. The prices of drinks are also decent and not overpriced like they tend to be in hotels.
It is really situated well alongside the lake, however there were mosquitos in the evening so we didn't spend much time there in later hours, and it was not easy to find a supermarket nearby. My main complaint would be how they didn't change towels often enough (one of my towels that was on the floor was put back up the rack for me to wipe my face on it!).

Other than that it is a very nice hotel and I do recommend it to people who would find themselves in Gardony looking for a good place to stay.

We stayed 2 nights only and we had nothing to complain about! We got an amazing room in the corner of the building with huge balcony door and window. The view was just amazing, to see the sunset from the balcony was breathtaking. Even tho we are both from Hungary we really got away from daily life. Not much to do around the hotel but after the delicious dinner in the hotel nice to take a walk alongside of the lake. The hotel is very clean and very spacious. The staff was very friendly they made our stay even nicer with their caring attention. We will definitely go back!

Room Tip: Corner suit has an amazing view of the sunset and also quiet
