The hotel isn't very large and didn't have the many people, which was just as well, because it didn't get crowded at the spa center and other amenities. The rooms are clean, modern, and sizable - unfortunately, my room didn't have a view of the lake both those that did had a lovely view to behold.
The spa center isn't large, and you don't really have the space to swim in the indoor swimming pool while the outside pool was quite cold, however you've got an assortment of saunas if you are into them and a nice jacuzzi. There are also surprisingly plenty of stuff to do in this hotel, including pingpong, squash and even a bowling alley.
The food offered at meals was tasty and diverse - my colleagues and I especially enjoyed their goose meat cooked in berry sauce. The prices of drinks are also decent and not overpriced like they tend to be in hotels.
It is really situated well alongside the lake, however there were mosquitos in the evening so we didn't spend much time there in later hours, and it was not easy to find a supermarket nearby. My main complaint would be how they didn't change towels often enough (one of my towels that was on the floor was put back up the rack for me to wipe my face on it!).

Other than that it is a very nice hotel and I do recommend it to people who would find themselves in Gardony looking for a good place to stay.

We stayed 2 nights only and we had nothing to complain about! We got an amazing room in the corner of the building with huge balcony door and window. The view was just amazing, to see the sunset from the balcony was breathtaking. Even tho we are both from Hungary we really got away from daily life. Not much to do around the hotel but after the delicious dinner in the hotel nice to take a walk alongside of the lake. The hotel is very clean and very spacious. The staff was very friendly they made our stay even nicer with their caring attention. We will definitely go back!

Room Tip: Corner suit has an amazing view of the sunset and also quiet

Clean and fairly new hotel by the lake, 45 minutes from Budapest. The location is great and the surroundings are beautiful. You can rent bikes at the hotel, jog around the premises or swim in the lake. The hotel has a spa (relaxing massage for 50 min. costs HUF 9000 - price is fair) and indoor jacuzzi and relaxing pool. The hotel is clean, the room was OK, but not that of a 4* hotel (very small TV, hard mattress and no toiletries - only a soap dispenser in the shower. Small shower space, no bath tub). Dinner and breakfast OK, nothing particular. The staff is helpful but I cannot say they were friendly (never smiled and are pretty cold). The place could feel better if there was more atmosphere, it felt very cold. Price paid for the room was too high for low season and for what we got.

Room Tip: request lake view

We've been attending a wedding at this hotel, and spent the night. The rooms are elegant, and of high standard. The food was also great, and there is a wide range of selection at the breakfast. The hotel service did everything for us to have a great wedding party, and a pleasant stay.

The only thing that was really disappointing is that we were told months before the wedding, that since we book so many rooms, we can stay until 4pm the second day, and they confirmed this 2-3 weeks before as well, and 2 days before the wedding we were told that there is going to be a reconstruction work, and we can't stay that late. We still do not beleive, that they did not know about this months, or weeks before the wedding.

Room Tip: Tópartra néző szobák erkéllyel, a folyosók végéin.

Main reason to select this hotel was to the indoor pool (to avoid beeing on the sun in the middle of the day). Kids enjoyed both internal, external pools and especially the slide which looks like a lighthouse. Best in these is that it is private for hotel guests only, no externat people for daily fee. What we really liked was the lake itself, which is just a couple of steps away from the hotel.
Food was also great, best taste this summer!
