I visited Fiskars 25th July 2015 with my fiance. We enjoyed the place and the sceneries in the area - as well the services. The price level was ok. One should reserve minimum 4 hours for the visit, rather the whole day. There are also nice parks for picnic.

Two gabs:
- service level isn't standard. In those places where it is done By locals/enterpreneurs, it good or even great. But in those places, where are seasonal employees, the service was even weak.

Absolutely worth a visit. But take enough time to walk around and get a map from the infomation desk on arrival. In the restaurants there seemed to be too little people working, even though it was the higest high saison, as they told us. The only smile we got was from the info desk. That was good but it would be nice to feel welcome also in the shops and cafees.

Fiskars Village, the Art Village, I would say is really worth to see at least once a lifetime. There are plenty of shops and market square with art products and useful everyday things, like products from Fishkars Oy which is know from scissors, knifes and axes. There is also a brand new play ground for children with many options.
And the nature is beautiful in the Village with small river in the center of it.

This was a very interesting little stop over for us. There was alot of history and art here. The Fiskars Village is beautiful and peaceful. There are also some great cafes to eat at and of course the shopping.

If you are travelling in south western Finland it is worth going away from the main road and head to Fiskars (you know the tools, scissors). The village is mostly renovated and very nice, peaceful. You are going back in time. Fiskars has museum, exhibitions, nice restaurants and cafes. Go there
