Since my grand-mother was born close by, I’ve always heard about the legends of the Huelgoat forest. It is a great little wood to walk in. To enjoy it fully, it is best to come prepared with good walking shoes and some pre-downloaded explanations of the legends of Huelgoat. Also, avoid the main paths as much as possible, as it feels much more magical to walk on a small footpath on your own by the river.
Also, if possible try to get there when the weather is dry, as the rocks could get slippery.
