Visited the Parsons Nose for the first time since they opened up the new extension.
Great staff, very friendly and welcoming. Got seated in the large extension below the original bar. Whilst it was a beautiful setting it was a little noisy but not too bad.
The menu was good but heading towards a little bit more expensive.
I had the prawn starter. It was a little disappointing and at £8 expensive for very few prawns and some watery rice. Tried the £15 burger. Not cheap but it was excellent. Succulent and very tasty.
Overall a nice place to visit.

Love the food and atmosphere here. Menu changes quite often which is great as you know you are getting seasonal and fresh food. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I visit here quite often and haven't been disappointed once

Great menu with choices of fish, meat, pizza, pasta dishes. The battered fish and chips was huge, perfectly cooked and would have scored 10/10 if the chips had been more crispy. The filet of plaice was perfectly cooked. The penne pasta was delicious with a vegetarian sauce based on aubergines. The fruit crumble and ice cream tasted home made. Great tasting local beer. Very good access for wheel chairs and pushchairs. Will definitely return.

A beautiful village setting. We have visited this restaurant on numerous occasions and have generally always been pleased however, the past few visits have been somewhat of a let down.
Service was very average and the food was certainly not anything to rush back for. Very disappointing as it somewhere we loved.
Still a great little spot for an afternoon drink, such a cosy feel.

The restaurant has been newly decorated and extended since we were last here and it looks fab and has a great atmosphere. The food was excellent and portion sizes were just perfect. The staff were also very friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
