So in Praslin it was amongst the most recommended food places to be at,but honestly it was alright. The place was done up well but food was pricey plus taxes.Seating is very comfortable with a beautiful view of the beach.Good drinks.

Great location ,so close to the sea that some tables cannot be used at high tide . We loved the quirky decor and food /service was top notch . Booking recommended

Had family dinner there 3 times. Good food and service. Pricey. Males must wear long trousers for dinner, jeans are accepted. Might need to book in advance. Some days there is available a “transfer” service that brings you back to the hotel at no additional cost.

A restaurant with a great location, unique design and overall high ambitions. Although we appreciated the surprise appetisers and the good cocktails, the food did not impress us overall. Especially not considering the price level. Also a bit skeptical about the pants dresscode for an outdoor/beach restaurant in a tropical environment.

Based on the reviews, I was looking forward to really amazing food and drinks at Cafe des Arts. Unfortunately, the only thing worthy of an ‘ excellent ‘ is the location and view .

The food is average at best - and the drinks are below average. I was shocked to see that they use blended juice drinks rather than actual fruits for their cocktails. They were extremely watered ( juiced!?) down and really not worth the price.

Going back to food, we specifically ordered the fruit salad because the waitress told us it would have mango. When it arrived, there was no mango - and the waitress just giggled and said ‘ oh they must have run out’. I didn’t think it was a laughing matter considering the cost of dish - it honestly looked like leftover fruit from their breakfast buffet.

If you’re staying at the hotel then it’s a good place to catch a bite or sun downers while you lounge at the beach. I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to get there.
