The photos and videos of this Hotel really don't do it justice... It is breathtakingly beautiful. We have just returned from and amazing holiday... The service we have received from all members of staff has been excellent from housekeeping to bar staff to dining room staff and reception/management. They are all really friendly and stop to chat and ask how you are enjoying your stay. We had an amazing swim up room (luxury swim up) and had the sun from 12.30 for the rest of the day. It suited us perfectly but what we did notice was that some people who had swim up rooms were reserving up to 3 loungers opposite which are for the rooms above. I think a simple solution for this would be to number the loungers with the room numbers of the upstairs rooms so they all have their designated loungers... Some had to go without due to the selfishness of the people in the swim ups unfortunately. ... The wifi was excellent, really fast and strong signal in all areas. The food was superb.. something for everyone in the main dining room and the A la Carte restaurant was just out of this world. We had a very special night there eating first class food while watching the beautiful sunset. As i have already said, all staff are so friendly and helpful but for us a few stood out . One was Sanya in the dining room, by our 3rd day of the holiday, she had our drinks waiting for us at our usual table by the time we walked into the dining room, she was amazing... also Chris from the lobby bar is a ray of sunshine.. He is a character and will have you laughing in no time. He is so good at his job looking after everyone... Michael the Thomas Cook rep has to have a mention .. We had an issue with our seats on the plane (airport mix up , Not Thomas Cook's fault) and Michael sorted everything out in no time, even leaving a note in our room telling us not to worry and that everything was resolved... Then there's Emma.. Operations Manager. She really cares about all the guests and goes out of her way to please everyone and come over and chat and ask how the hotel could be improved or welcoming any suggestions. She's a credit to the hotel. Lastly I just want to mention the Airport.,... Whatever you do , make sure you check in online for the return journey as the airport is absolute chaos.. If you dont check in online you have to queue outside the airport just to get into the building . Inside the airport is mayhem .. By the time we got through all the queues, the plan was already 50% boarded and we had checked in online so went to the priority check in... I dread to think what would have happended if we had joined the other queue outside. To sum up our holiday, We feel priveleged to have had an amazing holiday in a superb hotel with excellent service from all members of staff. We have already decided to return as we think we have found our perfect holiday destination.

Room tip: We had room 103 which is in a quieter pool and was perfect for us.

We stayed at Stella Island 06.06.17 - 13.06.17. We stayed in room 217 which is a premium swim up room. The week we spent there was absolutely amazing. The complex itself was beautiful and the staff and service were absolutely brilliant, every single one of them, very friendly and could not do enough for you (I hope the owners are paying them enough!)

There was plenty of choice in terms of breakfast lunch and dinner, poolside snacks and drinks that is all included in the all inclusive package and the food was always excellent !

Like most people we read the reviews before we went and were prepared to come across a few teething problems with the resort being so new, but put simply there wasn't any!

Honestly the people leaving bad reviews are those kind of people who you would hope you never bump into when on holiday and probably spend so much time moaning in their lives they don't have time to smile and have fun!

If you are looking for a place to relax then this is the place for you. There were kids there who were well behaved, but come on look at the pictures, there isn't much for them to do other than swim and I can see why it will be adults only next year. If you have kids stay at Stella Palace next door! Don't take them and moan like people have, use a bit of common sense!

The best bad review I read mentioned about the pool being too cold! LOL! What did they expect the pool to be heated? It's a bit chilly for a second when you first get in but that's it, you soon get used to it. It's the same as any outdoor pool you have ever been to abroad!

Loads of choice with cocktails, not just a 'cocktail of the day' or anything like that, draught lager that is included is lovely, bar staff always insisted they brought your drinks to your table and the mini bar in the room filled daily with 5 different soft drinks, bottled water, red wine, tonic, soda and lager as well as different teas and coffee.

Probably missed loads out and bit of a mish mash review but trust me you won't be disappointed if you go!

Me and my husband stayed at Stella Island for a week in early June. We were extremely impressed with the resort from start to finish, it's one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in and the service was brilliant.

The rooms are beautiful - clever layout, very high finish and beautiful decor. Likewise the communal areas are laid out well so even at busy times you don't feel like other sunbathers are encouraging on your personal space.

The food was outstanding, all fresh and home made. Plenty of grilled meats and fresh salads as well as cheeses and desserts. The a la carte restaurant has a great wine selection (costs extra but worth it) and the food there is gourmet standard. The service in the restaurant was excellent, especially from Kostas the manager.

The entertainment was minimal and low key which we loved. I hope this resort continues like that as it's such a nice change from typical all inclusive hotels. You really do get that luxury experience here which I think would be ruined by tacky entertainment.

You can walk to the beach / village in around 10 mins where there are plenty of beach bars, places to swim and small supermarkets.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

I never normally write a review, but upon reading some reviews I feel that I have read are harsh, unfair and very misleading.

The service is 5 star, the hotel manager excellent and dealt with everything we had spoke to her about. The reception team are friendly, welcoming and remember your name and even the room number you were in. The restaurant manager Kostos is an exceptional manager, kind and caring. What you see is what you get with him; he takes time out to make sure you are happy with everything and makes you at home as a business man he would be an asset to any hotel, great appointment. The staff in all areas are friendly, helpful and always have a smile on their face.

I'm very in mind of the people who have wrote reviews but never worked in a service industry and are keyboard warriors. I would like to add, after 37 days of opening, you can clearly see their training is of 5 stars and you would never guess they had only just started. The staff were hand picked to perfection.

As for the food, it was delicious and always a good selection not like your average 1000 people hotel where the restaurant cooks on quantity, you can tell it's cooked with quality. Their chicken is exceptional. As for the alcohol, I read a review on how there were no well known brands however, they had martini, corona, vodka, amaretto and many others. When you come on holiday you come to experience the country's culture i.e drinks, so reading a review moaning about not having well known brands my resolution for you - stay in England.

The resort is a real escape from the outside world; quiet and eye catching. The layout of the pool, the swim up huts to the hand crafted furniture made out of wood were beautiful. You can tell the hotel was made with an aim to impress which it clearly does.

In my opinion you should come and visit this beautiful place with excellent 5 star service. It's a holiday to remember and we will be booking this next year.
