Contrary to some of the recent ratings our experience was completely different possibly because we did not have pizza! Great spot for a small snack and a drink - we had a soup and an omelette on the terrace and it was absolutely great! Service prompt and top notch!

We stopped in on a Sunday evening when some other places were closed & we wanted a pizza & beer.
Don't expect too much (but you probably knew that).
Pizza is a little doughy, but not bad by International standards.
Has some outdoor seating.
No surprises...served it's purpose.
Serviceable & not a bad option of you're craving a pizza & beer like you were back in University.

There was a covering [for rain] that trapped the smoke IN. I get it, people in Europe smoke. If only there was more ventilation.
We ordered beer -- it was great, and a sandwich. Most people were getting pizza, but who goes to the Azores for pizza? Great spot for a snack and a brew.

We read the reviews and thought it can’t be that bad so we went for a pizza. But the trippers were right. Pizza is bad and prices are disproportionate to quality. 2 pizzas, 1 beer and 2 soft drinks came to 30. By comparison, a meal at boutique hotel with sirloin steak and vegetarian dish and drinks came to 50 (pizza was an option too). The pizza was said to be made with mozzarella but it was regular cheese. We declined when asked if we wanted to take leftovers with us. Don’t bother.

Serving pizza and burgers this place is nothing fancy, but does the trick. Essentially another “snack bar” which seem to be plentiful. Prices are very reasonable. It has a covered patio where there is smoking allowed, and an indoor seating area where there is no smoking.
