We went for diner, the food choice was very good, had grilled salmon and pasta salad w/ chicken which were both excellent!! The wine suggested was excellent and prob the cheapest price wise on the wine list. The view on the terrasse was breathtaking and even the background music was excellent!! Friendly staff! Deserves more credit in terms of rating for restaurants in furnas! ;)

I had a stew which was very good and a nice cold beer in a frosty glass. My wife had the tuna and a glass of the house wine. She said here meal was very good and the wine was also nice and was only 1.50 euro.

The service was fast however the server was not very pleasant, not rude but also not very inviting.

Total bill 19 euro

We had lunch here as part of a private tour of the island. We saw the sign marking our meal cooking in the ground at Furnas earlier in the morning and were excited to try the traditional meal cooked with the heat of the earth. The meats and vegetables were tasty, as was the fresh bread, cheese, and desserts. There were six of us and the plate of food could have fed twice that many!

The staff were friendly and the restaurant clean, although basic. Glad we tried it!

This restaurant is a little bit more off the beaten path which made it a better option for us as it wasn’t very busy. There also were locals dining which is reassuring when traveling. The food was reasonably priced with good portion size. We had an order of garlic bread, ham sandwich, vegetable soup, and cheese omelet with fries. My can of coke was served cold which was nice too.
The server was very nice & the service she provided was prompt and efficient. We didn’t get the traditional furnas boiled meal but many others did. For the price it was a very large portion and I could hear patrons commenting on how good it was.
