We had the menu with the wine pairing.
Food : was good. The soup was to cold. The dishes were small portions. Not so a big issue, but to our opinion the main dish portion have to be bigger.
The wine pairing was very very good ! Good portions, good choices to the dishes. A good job of the sommelier

The food was really quite delicious but be prepared to pay for it. Definitely some of the most expensive food on the island. Service was also VERY slow. Be sure to make a reservation as it is required for both lunch and dinner since they seem to do only one seating an evening (this applies to hotel guests, as well, which was a bit of a surprise)!

This restaurant featured waiters in formal wear and a level of service we don't usually see in the places we stop. The food was excellent -- We were a group of 6 with different orders and all were happy. They were very accommodating. We were there for a lunch, but we and many others were dressed informally (shorts and t-shirts) and it was not a problem. If you want to go to the attached gardens, they will give you free tickets if you eat in the restaurant. That was good, as the prices were steep -- it cost us 166 euros for 6 people for lunch. But we saved 46 euros on the garden entrance fee so that helped.

Service was outstanding and grounds are interesting, as is the city. Plenty of parking and very clean restrooms

We were told that the best quality cozido would be here, so we came and enjoyed this traditional dish. But to be honest, I do think the hype around the cozido is slightly over-rated. The meat was mostly of good quality, but some pieces of pork were very fatty, and the beef was a little dry, but the rest of the meat (chicken, sausages, pork) was good as were the vegetables and juice. The wine (by the glass) albeit delicious was very expensive (a wine menu was not available and we followed the sommelier's advice). The desserts that we managed to eat after all the cozido :-) were delicious
