We'd seen the restaurant when visiting the Furnas caldeira, but thought it looked more like bar/ cafeteria from the outside. Having had a bad experience the previous night having relied on TA reviews, we decided we'd nothing to lose. So glad we did, the food was excellent,and service prompt and friendly with waiters keen to tell us about the island.

We had a steak and tuna, both cooked as requested. Very reasonable for the quality, excellent coffe to finish.

Modern and clean.

It was fantastic. Second time here and this year it was even better. Location is perfect. Service was impeccable. The cozido was very tasty but not for everyone’s palate. The washrooms were flawless. Very classy.

We enjoyed many of the Furnas restaurants, but this restaurant was a cut above. Very friendly service and very good food.

This one is for the hungry people. Superb quality, huge portions, exeptional ingredients. Strongly recommend!

The meal was ok, well cooked meat, decent salad to start and good bread. The steak with orange thyme sauce was overwhelmingly seasoned - too much thyme! But our other dishes were decent, dessert was very good and our service was very good as well. Worth a stop
