Really nice place with super food and friendly service. We've been twice so far, had the bread starter both times which is large, then mains we have tried are BBQ chicken, pork steak and beef steak all very delicious. Tried the mini eclairs and pineapple delight, mini eclairs not my thing but pineapple delight lovely. Very reasonable prices would definitely recommend.

We had dinner here and were pretty much the only guests in the large restaurant. We ordered the cheese plate and garlic bread as appetizers. As mains we had a salad with chicken and the pork ribs since one alternative dish we actually wanted wasn't available.

The cheese plate looked just sad with 3 pieces of cheese laying on an oversized plate, no garnish no nothing. While the waitress obviously had the time to say something about the cheeses (which island they are from, etc.), she didn't. The garlic bread has been heated up apparently, but has cooled down by the time it reached the table. The ribs were good and very tender. The salad was rather disappointing.

All together not my recommended restaurant in Furnas.

Enjoy the thermal stew! An abundance of food. Beef, pork, chicken, blood sausage and chorizo sausage gives the whole dish a lovely seasoning. 3 kinds of potatoes, kale and cabbage too. Octopus salad is great too. A very unique reasonably priced meal

We went to see the cosido pulled out from the ground and made reservations to the restaurant.
The place is big and comfortable for kids
The cosido was great and the service was outstanding

This is a very popular restaurant that specializes in the well known "Cozido das Caldeiras", a sort of stew cooked in a hole in the soil next to the Furnas lake hot springs.
Staff is great and try communicate with customers in their own language.
Many other dishes are available.
The dinning room is large and spacious.
