I have order from the owner to make for us octopus under the bake and it was perfect!
I will say best ever.
It was so soft and delicious.

Let's start from the best part, the kids playroom inside (which is basically a slide but still) is a great help for ppl with kids. Our waiter was either tired either a bit "burnt out) but wasn't very friendly, still did his job after all so can't really complain:)
Forget the soups, they are a waste of money. Pizza and shopska salad for us was better than at other places in Lopar and the sea-food risotto was awesome.
There are quite many parking places nearby (paid) and place itself is quite spacious so its good for bigger groups as well.
With a "touch of smile and happiness" it could be a much better place.

We stayed in Lopar and chose to go to this restaurant since it was the top rated for this area. I feel that there are better restaurants nearby, just a 1-2 minute walk. We were not happy with any of the meals that were ordered. Tortellini were some cheap ones that you can buy from a shop, the grilled chicken was way too salty and lastly, I had Caesar salad which was not what I was expecting. When I was reading the menu, I noticed that it wasn't the usual type of Caesar salad, so was looking forward to their creation, only to be sadly disappointed. Their Caesar salad doesn't have anything to do with a Caesar salad. There was no dressing, except for a bit of vinegar and oil at the bottom of the plate. The lettuce was in huge parts making it hard to eat, eg, whole leaves of lettuce were placed as the base for the salad making it difficult to eat. It seems that the person who made this "Caesar salad" had never eaten, or let alone seen one. On the positive note, the pršut in Caesar salad was good.

The waiters didn't seem enthusiastic about us coming to this restaurant, no smile, no feeling of being welcome.

We liked the children's playground inside the restaurant, that's quite useful when you have young children.

At the end, it's also more expensive than nearby restaurants.

Beautiful setting by the waterfront offering shadow under the trees. Great choice of food for kids and grown-ups. Also check out the beach nearby.

maybe a bit salty Wiener schnitzel, but overall good calamari. I missed tartare sauce.
Very kind waiters.
