To be honest, you have to have an affection for tractors or more than a passing interest in industry, machinery or rural life to enjoy Traktor Story, but if you do: don't miss it. It's quirky, quaint and the owners are very friendly, and the tractors are… well… tractors. But it's not all tractors as there are also some interesting threshing machines. If you come expecting Kennedy Space Center, you are going to be disappointed, but if you also like simpler pleasures, Traktor Story is for you. Also: if you are passing to visit the nearby caves, it would be rude not to drop in.

Made our way on the bus as there are no tours available from the hotel. Bus only goes 4 times a day. My husband really enjoyed the experience as he is interested in vintage tractors. They had quite a lot of old rare machinery there.

Great place for:
- "big" that can read some short history as well as see brands like Porsche, Ferrari or Man
- "small" who are more than happy being able to touch, push, press, pull, step everything, and sit everywhere

Enjoy
Tomasz

As an ex farm boy, I was determined to bore my family stupid by reminiscing on old tractors.

This turned out to be less boring than everyone imagined, as there is quite a lot of farm machinery collected to provide a reasonable view of the progress of agriculture over the past century.

Presenting this in five languages would always be a challenge and some of the translations were entertaining in themselves. The exhibits do run from the sublime to the ridiculous, there are a few runners and some that are just junk.

But not bad...
