Spent 2 nights in a spacious, clean, recently repainted room here so that we could visit the Dali museum in Figueras and it was fabulous.
Every aspect of the design appears to have been thought about and the decor throughout is just beautiful.
Continental breakfast on the rooftop terrace is amazing with stunning views over the rooftops to the mountains and the sea.
It was very hot so the pool was a welcome bonus. Castello d'Empuries is full of character and the convent setting just added to this -I loved it.
The food, wine and cava in the restaurant were lovely and the portions huge. A starter salad was actually enough for a main course.
I really can't fault this place abd would recommend it wholeheartedly.

We stayed for a one night stop over. The hotel can be a bit tricky to find in the narrow streets but worth it when you get there. In a lovely location in the centre of this beautiful old village. The room was excellent and very clean. It has a lovely restaurant attached where you can eat outside and breakfast is served on the roof terrace with fantastic views. We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. Just not sure why this hotel is not listed as a 3 star as opposed to a 2 star? Would highly recommend.

A lovely recently refurbished family run hotel in the centre of the historic village. Lovely accommodating staff. Breakfast terrace on the roof gives lovely panoramic views. Restaurant good although there are excellent bars and other restaurants nearby. Poil and parking also provided.

A find, we will be back.

I was in this hotel with my son looking for some location near Empuriabrava. The stay was good, friendly place, nice room, swimming pool a little dirty because the weather was windy. Restaurant was fine, but a little expensive comparing to the quality of food. Castelló d'Empuries is a nice medieval village with quiet places to stay breathing calm.

Wonderful family run hotel, run to a high standard of cleanliness, friendly helpful staff, full of origional charm with modern touches that enhance the whole hotel. Lovely roof top terrace for breakfast with views of the whole village. Restaurant serves excellent food, nice menue and great value for money. Facilities include a lovely pool in a seperate nunnery just along the narrow road of the village. There is a small gym. Seating area in the attractive square for food of drinks to relax. The village has a few shops and restaurants and a lovely Church. 7 years of going to this hotel and visiting the area aways such a lovely holiday and base to explore the many attractions.

Room Tip: I love the front rooms with a balcony over the square but gets noisy early in the morning if you love quiet back rooms or side are better.
