The village concept, surroundings and ambiance is unique and special. We stayed at one of the houseboats by the lake, and enjoyed our privacy, sauna, swimming in the lake and the nature. However, service at the resort was quite poor at times, with young newly started staff that were either slow to respond or didn’t manage to solve problems in our accommodation.
The receptionists were way too slow, considering the number of people waiting in lines at peak hours, dinner reservations in the Piika restaurants did not hold - we had to wait 20 min for our table at dinner despite the reservation. The only good experience was at the Kota restaurant.
Food was not up to the standards of such a premium resort. In fact, the food was very basic.
We loved this experience once, but would not pay the premium again due to the service level.
