Stayed in one of the semi-detached units (17B) for a few days.
Very spacious and well equipped.
3 bedrooms ground floor, 1 upstairs. 2 are ensuite (unusual for Finland).
Big sauna.
Reasonable kitchen with most utensils and lots of plates / glasses.
This unit has a SW facing terrace so sun most of the day.
Location is 5km from Tahko centre so you really need a car.

We were a group of 8 adults and 5 children and the accomodation was brilliant. Rooms were cozy clean and it was well furnished and nice. There were good views. It had free wifi too but speed not great. Tv connection too. Close to kuopio and lots of adventure sport activities near by.
We had a great time in Tahkovuori and our Golden Resort Villa totally lived up to the expectations. The heated terrace was great and all in all our stay was very pleasant.
Will go back next year, would recommend for both families and groups of friends.
We went down to Tahko the entire extended family, we booked the Gloden Resort cottage for 8 people and we are loving it!!! The cottage is high standard, deluxe rate well deserved. Evey bed room has it's own bath room which make it easy for 3 families to stay together. The decoration and furniture has warm design, everything is carefully thought to make your stay nice, warm and easy.
The ski resort is 5 km away, you need a car but there is a ski bus going for free every 30 minutes.
It's not a cheap option but worth every single Euro, we will come back again, thank you for lovely easter vacation.
We, a family of 4, spent the Christmas holidays at the Golden Resort villas. We rented the smaller of the villas, 135 square meters, which is a semi-detached house.
The villa feels a lot roomier than its actual space and there is a bedroom + small tv/living area on the second floor, which I think is not included in the 135 square meters. All in all, 4 bedrooms, three of them with their own bathrooms are plenty for one family or even for two.
The villas are very well equipped, kitchen had everything I could ask for and with nice dinnerware as well.
Roomy living and dining area with a fire place and nicely decorated.
Very nice sauna, high quality salon shampoos etc.
Two tv's, PS3 and PS3-games you could borrow at reception.
There is a bar and restaurant open during summer, but during christmas holidays it was only open for those who had pre-booked Christmas dinner etc - we wanted to cook our own.
Only a 5 minute drive from the Tahkovuori slopes.
Golden Resort is next to a golf course and I can imagine this would be a great place to stay during summer, too.
