We stayed in the first floor Almazara apartment which had a beautiful sunny balcony overlooking the mountains. The village of Santa Lucia is a good Centre for walking in the mountains especially in the winter months.
However there are drawbacks with this property:
The lady who gives you the key speaks no English, so questions are difficult at handover if you don't speak Spanish.
Access by car is on a very narrow winding one way lane, and there is only parking for two cars maximum at the four apartments.
The next door property has a large number of dogs which constantly bark during the day and sometimes at night (sounds like a dog fight). They also have goats kept in a confined area which smell dreadful. So sitting on the balcony is rather spoiled.
Although we expected a rural property, the fittings are very basic and kitchen very limited for the price.
We would not return to this property.More
