Simply making a summary of what happened. Uncomfortable set up, gastronomical wannabe which hugely disappointed me. Food was ruined by weird sweet sauces and it was a whole adventure to get there.

Anyway - thanks to their special cheese, woke up at 4 throwing up everywhere and never felt so bad for a whole day and more.

- Would not recomend

Just a edible meal in a fantastic location.
Location is fantastic, as well the decor.
Service ... They all seem to me not professional.
The lady maitre was somehow gentle, but definitely too pushy, and -most of all - not prepared to describe the plates and dishes contents (she says she doesn't eat most of the ingredients and seh aint know ... UNBELIEVABLE
Food was (only) well presented.
Quality ... Not good.
Prawns and Scampi overcooked.
Both in my main course and as well in the strange appetizer with pea soup, with (old and dry) burrata and very, very overcooked prawns.
This one is a famous new dish by one of the top chefs in Italy ...
But made of a cream of few peas, some very fresh Burrata, and the best prawns, slighyly cooked.
They clearly copied ... But with bad results. My appetizer was a real disaster.

The Main course, the frittura was just a huge amount of calamari, well fried I must say, but with just a tiny piece of fish fillet, and few scampi and prawns that must have stayed in the frying pan for hours ...
For what they charge, for the way they dressed the restaurant, I guess they are on the wrong path.
Not recommended.
Only for the location, maybe trying easy dishes would do ..

The place has very likely the best view/terrace of this section of the Liguria region.

The food is very good, not excellent.
Service's also quite good.

The mix between the view and the food is outstanding and romantic.

Simply excellent. Even if we couldn't get a proper table in the restaurant, we could sit on a motorboat like seats close to the sea, very nice with a a lovely sea view under a huge umbrella to protect us from the sun. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. You must be prepared to wait if you haven't booked a table well in advance, but it is worth every minute. Just to order a gorgeous Salad Nicoise, a big portion for 10 euro from freshly cut vegetables a whole peace of mozzarella etc, really great! The fresh fruit dessert is worth to mention too. For dinner you must be prepared to pay much more but the combination of a fantastic location, perfect service, great food and drinks is worth getting to this paradise between Rapallo and Zoagli. You can book a parking place at no costs and have to ring the bell on the top of the l before you drive down on the serpentine road to the restaurant. The private beach is at extra cost, but it is a nice combination...

Very good for an elegant and romantic dinner.
Service is accurate and professional first of all and this is somewhat unique for the area.
Few tables make the atmosphere "familiar", and not like an ordinary restaurant of this type. Food was good though not extraordinary, probably due to the July menu was just renovated. A "must go" place if you are in the area and want a dinner experience.
