Not a flash place but we loved it.

The 4 rooms of this B&B are located above the pub. The stairway leading to them was dingy and smelt a bit off. Didn't instill confidence at this point! We found out later the smell was from two buckets of seaweed being readied for use in the downstairs spa. The two rooms we had booked however were large, clean and fresh smelling. The kids got the room looking out the back of the pub towards the adjoining hostel. We scored the front room with a stunning view from the dormer window ofer the warf and bay. We loved the place just for this. Even better though was the evening spent in the pub full of mainly locals. The meals were ok, nothing to rave about but good enough. The atmosphere was great though. All the staff were super friendly. The included full Irish breakfast was delicious. A bonus was already being a quarter way around the Dingle peninsula drive and completing the drive against the traffic. If you want something a bit out of the way and being able to rub shoulders with the locals then check this place out.

The location was excellent, and the weather was fantastic. The easy access to the beach. There is long walk available and great scenic view over the three sisters (mountain picks). The service is excellent and friendly. I felt like at home being here.
If you plan a trip to Ballydavid, then this is the place to stay.

Room tip: all rooms are fine. The location is by the beach, therefore any room is fine!

I stayed here for four nights in October. Its very quiet and peaceful. There's a nice walking pass right of the hotel that's beautiful. Its only a 13 minute drive to Dingle which I made a few times.Be careful though it's a narrow drive.I only ate at the restaurant once but it was good.
I would definitely return.

Lovely rooms in which ours overlooked the sea, wonderful, pub below food excellent or though a little expensive, small lovely beach.
With the beach and mountains a wonderful setting well worth a visit. When we were there, they were filming Star Wars around the corner.
