Our stay at Coconut Beach was incredibly relaxing. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they do everything to make sure their guests have the best stay possible. The food was delicious and I loved not having to think about anything whilst we stayed here. This allowed us to switch off and unwind.
Some of our fantastic experiences include:
We flew to the Yasawas by sea plane. I would highly recommend this as the views were amazing.
The welcome to Coconut Beach resort was such a special experience. This included a welcome song and being given a delicious drinking coconut.
We went out on a number of excursions with Moses including a trip to the caves. One of the younger members of staff (Joe) actually came into the caves with us. This was hugely reassuring as I was a little nervous about going through quite a narrow space in order to go into a second cave. I'm not sure I would have done it had he not been there. In hindsight there was nothing to be afraid of so I am really pleased that Joe encouraged me to go into the cave. This was also a great trip as you got to see a lot of the other islands and villages on the boat ride over to the caves.
We did the walk to the top of the nearby hill. The views from the top were spectacular. We did this walk one evening around 5pm. I found the heat quite overwhelming as we were walking up but we made our way to the Digicell tower and managed to get some shade underneath some of the solar panels for a little while. This walk would be ideal early in the morning for sunrise. However, due to the tides, it is not possible to walk along the beach at this time of day.
The snorkelling/fish feeding with Moses over at the Blue Lagoon was another memorable experience. And Moses also took us snorkelling at the reserve at the point. You do need flippers to be able to do this as the current can be quite strong.
Moses also took my husband out surfing/body boarding outside the reef. This can only be done at certain times of the year.
In general relaxing by the beach with a book was perfect! However, I would recommend that Coconut Beach buy some more of the comfortable blue sun loungers as the wooden ones they have are decidedly uncomfortable!
I think around 3 or 4 nights here is the perfect amount of time to stay, relax and complete some of the activities.

Room tip: We had the bure closest to the beach. This was a beautiful room and good for the sea breeze coming through the room at night.

The Fiji you have romanticized about all your life becomes a reality at CBR. If you have ever day dreamed about stopping time, lying in the sun on a secluded beach with a gentle ocean breeze cooling your body, staring at crystal clear blue waters as the stresses of life melts away book your stay now.

Things to do:
Hike up the sunset trail for panoramic views of the neighboring islands.
Kayak to the blue lagoon (yes, that blue lagoon from the movies). Kayaks are free.
Snorkel right off the beach to the coral reefs. Rental gear available for only 5 Fijian dollars. Amazing variety of life.
Fish with captain Jacob. If you catch anything they'll cook it for you!
Guided cave tours available.
Stroll along the beach. Quiet and solitary. (FYI dogs are friendly.) One dog on premise. Extremely friendly. Ask Harry how J-Lo got his name. Yes, HIS name.
If walking at night make sure you look up and admire the stars. Look down so you don't run into any sand crabs.
Relax anywhere! No phone, Internet (minimal access), tv, or AC. The electricity goes off between 11pm - 8am.
Disconnect from the world and enjoy!

Bring a flashlight (nights are pitch black especially after the electricity is turned off), mosquito repellent for the evenings, and plenty of sunscreen.
If this is your first time to Fiji take the Yasawa Flyer from Denarau Port and splurge for the captain's lounge. It's a 5 hour trip but it's a great way to see the islands.
Take the seaplane on Turtle Airways back to Nadi. It's only a 30 minute trip.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff could not have been more gracious. A big vinaka vaka levu to Alex, Linda, Remy, Harry, Ma, Jacob, Joseph, Pina, and J-Lo! Me Nomuni na marau ni siga ni sucu kei na tawase ni yabaki vou.

Room tip: Right now only three villas and they're all great!

My wife and I were Honeymooning in Fiji for 2 weeks in October. We were lucky enough to book 3 nights at Coconut Beach.

We caught the Yasawa Flyer from Paradise Cove to Coconut. We got picked up and greeted by Captain Jacob and first mate Pina. After a quick boat ride across from Blue Lagoon Resort we arrived at Coconut to song by the staff consisting of Linda, Ma and Joe (Captain Jacob's son). They are a wonderful, soulful and beautiful staff.

Once there, Linda escorted us to our room. On our way there you can see all of the coconuts. Coconuts everywhere. We were already having coconut with a straw while walking to the room.

The room was very spacious with an outdoor bathroom. Great bang for your buck. This is the kind of place you want if you are looking to disconnect. No TV. Hardly any wifi unless you go to office. No electricity at certain hours. Those sound like bad things, but it is truly revitalizing to escape those things for a few days.

The food by Chef Harry was wonderful. Always very tasty. Linda was always very attentive. Joe gave us the courage to snorkel (non-swimmer here). Jacob, Joe and Pina always filled the Kava Bowl to the rim.

This place was true Paradise. They call the beach 50 shades of blue because it is truly stunning. I expect Alex will continue building this place it into something spectacular.

Vinaka Vaka Levu Linda, Ma, Jacob, Joe, Harry, Pina and Alex.
