Our first stay on a Yasawa island resort and we were not disappointed! The setting is straight from a travel agents brochure of an island paradise. The staff are friendly with an excellent selection of free (eg choir, movie night, paddle boarding) activities. There are also other activities for an addition fee and I would recommend the Sawa-I-Lau cave ($89) especially as this is the closest resort and we arrived first to the cave when it was empty.
We stay in a 'lodge' room which was small but perfectly ccomfortable. It shared the facilities with the dorms which were clean and functional. All the meals was excellent and the drinks were a similar price to our Fiji resorts (Fiji bitter $9.50). More
