Lovely restaurant recommended by our climbing guide. Really welcoming staff, a nice ambience and some great local cuisine. The wine is fairly reasonably priced, locally grown and really tasty!

It has a main utilitarian room with tables, the bar and kitchen, more of a dining room to the side. We chose the main room as it was busier and had atmosphere. The amount of English spoken is about as much as my close to non existent Spanish, but we guessed our way through an order and revived heaps of tasty canarian cuisine. Despite not understanding each other the hosts were friendly, and managed to steer us away from some mistakes with our order (like asking for two very large almost identical salads haha!) Orders are more 'for the table' size, hence our unexpected feast. We ate for three or four, for the price of one or two. The white wine they serve is notably exceptional, and the Secreto Ibérico is some of the tastiest meat I've ever eaten.

My husband and I went here on the recommendation of our climbing guide. No frills, Pepe tells you the menu and what you'll be eating ( if you understand Spanish - no English spoken) don't let this put you off as the food, in it's simplicity, is good, wholesome, traditional grub. We ate cheese, tomatoes and avocado to start, followed by the slow cooked goat with home cooked chips! In my opinion, it was one of the tastiest and plentiful meals I've ate on the island. Will definitely return to visit Pepe and his wife :)
