A wonderful place for those who love Africa's wildlife. The guides are incredible and the staff all so friendly and helpful There is so uch to see in this beautiful place. Elephants sometimes visit the camp and even lions but it is very safe. The staff are so well trained. Once the frogs and hippos have quietened down sleep is easy, though you may hear distant lions roaring. I'd love to go again.

Room tip: All the rooms have good views of the bush.

My Husband and I spent 2 nights here in low season and had a wonderful time. We had lots of fun on our safaris and managed to see loads of wildlife up close, including elephants, baboons, impala, giraffe, mongoose, birds of prey and some hippos - which we could hear eating around the tent at night! A highlight was definitely our helicopter flight where we could see hundred of eles and wild buffalo. We loved all the staff and especially they're fun singing. On our last morning we found a family of sleeping lions and a leopard tortoise. It was the best. We want to make a special mention to our awesome tour guide James 007, who is alot of fun and very knowledgable. Thanks alot ABC!

We left our favorite camp with the Linyanti song in our heart! The three days and nights that we spent at Linyanti-Ebony were a dream. The accommodations, staff, and food were all lovely. Our private guide, Stanley, made the daily game drives unforgettable. His immense knowledge about everything Botswana, made us fall in love with this country, and especially with the authentic people. We saw so much beautiful wildlife! The Linyanti-Ebony camp has a very special vibe, and we are hoping to come back, soon!

3 nights of authentic African bush camping experience in perfect weather. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival with song and dance, made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Accommodated in tent cabin #2, lovely, spacious and clean with a four post king bed, ensuite with a bush shower with a great view complemented with views from the deck. It had a cooling fan with which we tried to keep ourselves cool. Middays were hot! Enjoyed the communalI meals, nicely prepared and very well presented by the chef for my vegan diet. Happy to have met and share with fellow vegan from London and her friendly family. The communal area has a great view across the flood plain towards the Caprivi, cooled by the shade of ancient trees, was always available with access to drinks and power points to charge our portable devices.

Two game drives everyday, one after breakfast with an early start of 6:30 am to catch animal activity during the cooler morning hours and another later at 4:00 pm. Drives included stops for drinks, snacks and the first afternoon included a sundowner along a waterhole watching a beautiful African sunset. Saw elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, baboons, buck and an array of birds with knowledgeable info by our guide. The resident leopard eluded us. The game viewing was limited due to the season with long grass and undergrowth, and no mokoro or hikes for this reason. Be prepared for mozzies and changes in temperatures!

Two awesome experiences, one the helicopter scenic flight when we saw several herds of elephants, some frolicking in a waterhole, buffaloes meandering along towards a waterhole, giraffes and impalas. Skimming just above the flood plain grass at speed was brilliant! The piece de resistance was the surprise special private candlelight dinner prepared for us along the pool to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.

The camp buzzled with tree squirrels and a night visit by a hyaena. Animal sounds can be heard to complete the African experience. Thanks to our host Boy, guide Mighty, all Linyanti staff and Ker & Downey Africa for a memorable stay!

Hi there,

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay at Linyanti Bush Camp. We are thrilled to hear that you had such a wonderful time on safari with African Bush Camps. Throughout Africa, the rainy season, or the 'green season' as we like to call it, is notoriously misconstrued as a less favourable time of year to travel in terms of wildlife sightings. Whilst the vegetation is indeed thicker, and the water sources more wide-spread, making higher concentrations of wildlife species less likely to view, however, there are some great advantages to travelling during the green season. There are fewer tourists, the air is fresh and clear of the dust kicked up in the dryer months, the colours of the lush African vegetation and the dramatic cloudy decorated skies are fantastic for photography and there are many more baby animals around (as a result of the seasonal mating patterns).Everything just feels more vibrant and alive. We are delighted that you had such a wonderful time, and enjoyed the scenic heli-flip- there is nothing quite like seeing the area from a bird-eye view!

We hope that you will join us again soon!
Until then, take care and best wishes,

We had the best time ever at this camp !
Upon arrival at the airstrip a helicopter was waiting to take us to camp: how cool is that ? At arrival in the camp we where greeted by the manager and all the available staf with a welcome song. Lovely ! We where put in the honeymoon suite with has a tub on the deck...
Staying at this camp makes you feel as being part of the family: all meals where taken together with other guests, guides and heli pilot at the host’s table. The food and wines were of high quality, made with love and proudly presented by staff. We did two game drives a day (coffee or sundowner included) with terrific guides James 007 and Mighty: they tracked numerous game, birds, etc. for us. We saw lots of them, from very close, even had elephants walking richt next to our jeep. Imagine having coffee in the savannah with herds of giraffe passing by ? Well, we did this...After every game drive our host awaited us with wet towels to freshen up. Every day they surprised us with a different setting for dinner and the highlight of all sundowners whas a barbecue in the wild where we did a sing along with the staff. Another highlight was the 30’ scenic helicopter tour with Jeremy: he even took the doors off for better photo opportunities and fresh air.
The camp is not fenced, so you van hear wildlife around your tent during nighttime and see the tracks in the morning. The whole place is kept very clean including good laundry service.
In all: if you are looking for a fantastic place to stay in the Linyanti area, look no further, this is it !!!
