Very nice Hotel. Staff very attentive. All the rooms are every clean. Get a room on the back side overlooking the Neckar River.

They have two restaurants. Both are excellent. Lots of parking. Very near the Autobahn and larger towns.

They have very nice and helpful staff. Rooms are nicely designed with very nice ambiance of hotel. Location of hotel is very nice.

Restaurant of this hotel is also very good. I am from India and was really happy to see a vegetarian dish available with them.

I have stayed in Haus Nicklass on several occassions - and have been a very satisfied customer everytime. The hotel features nice rooms, great ambience with furniture that fits perfectly, beds are good and facilities at the hotel are excellent. There is a very good restaurant - but he facilities acrosse the strret in "Weinstube" (called "Old Nicklass" and an orgiginal "inn") are ven better.
The hotel feature also an aroma thearapy area, sauna and a gym.
Definately the best place to stay when on vacation in the Kocher Tal or on a business trip in the Hohenlohe Kreis or in the Ingelfingen/Künzelsau area.

We first traveled from the USA to Ingelfingen in 1991 because one of my ancestors came to North America from this small wine village in 1846. We arrived at Haus Nicklass without a reservation and said we wanted to stay for 3 days. The Nicklass family found rooms for us in their hotel and we have felt like family ever since. Over the years we have watched the hotel grow and watched the family go through the natural life cycle of the young replacing their elders.
Haus Nicklass is now owned by Michael Nicklass and his sister, Ursula van den Berg. Like their parents before them, they are incredibly hard working. Ursula's sons are away to learn more about the business and will soon be in a position to help.
When we first arrived, the hotel was a typical inn, with rooms above a restaurant. A separate guest house was nearby. The decoration of the restaurant was done by Black Forest woodcarvers and it remains stunningly beautiful. In 2000, a new ultra-modern hotel and restaurant were built across the highway from the original inn. More guest houses have been added, and a beautiful outdoor eating area behind the original inn has been expanded. The new hotel is a work of art, with a tower that houses an elevator. Small windows in the corridors frame views of the vineyards on the nearby hills.
The town, the inn, the new hotel, and the setting near the Neckar River are simply beautiful. We have now visited Ingelfingen six times just to relax and unwind. We walk up the hill to the Ruine Lichteneck and sit and admire the beautiful valley below. A path along a stream takes us back down to the town. This is as close to heaven as I may ever get.
The beauty of Ingelfingen would be enough, but to top it off, the food and wine are even better! In both of its restaurants, Haus Nicklass has been at the cutting edge of haute cuisine that is also grounded in traditional regional fare. (Michael was using edible flowers as garnish in 1991, long before such things moved into the mainstream of fine dining.) We dream about the food here.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and service is topnotch. Ingelfingen is not easy to reach by public transportation, especially on a weekend when bus service is reduced, but it is worth the effort to get there. The nearest cities are Kunzelsau, Schwäbisch Hall, Heilbronn, and Stuttgart.
This visit was September 10-13, 2012.

Room tip: The rooms "unter dem dach" (under the roof) are spacious, with views of the surrounding hills in every direction.

Stayed here on a business trip to Weisbach. The room was very nice and large with a double bed and a nice easy chair and desk along with a good TV set. Internet however, although advertised did not work for any of us, whether Japanese, American, or Deutschland. Shower and bathroom was very good but no shampoo or soap, just them environmentally friendly squeeze bottle. Bed was comply and pillows sleep friendly.
Restaurant is good and so is breakfast. Folks are friendly in a kind of distant small town way. I did not try out the sauna in the basement.
I would stay here again.
