A return to Barbados after 30 years for our 30th wedding anniversary. Room was great (we did get an upgrade!) overlooking the lagoon pools. Very quiet as it was out of the high season. Staff were exemplary - especially Latoniya - just ask for something and it is delivered with a smile. Even the 'dodgy' shower door was fixed immediately. Whilst the Laguna restaurant and Sunset Deck serve good food, going out to different restaurants in the evenings, necessitates a pricey taxi ride, as the hotel is a little isolated. One strange thing - it was the rainy season and the deep mattresses on the sun loungers are not taken in at night and get soaked? We will be back!

Had a fabulous time in Barbados loved every minute!
The hotel was clean tidy and well organised, the rooms were large and comfortable. One of the main things that made our stay most enjoyable were the staff that worked in the hotel. Ebony was a really helpful smiling young lady always around when you needed her, Thomas was very friendly and had all the time in the world to talk to you and make you feel most welcome and Anita who worked on the egg station always happy warm and friendly.
These staff and everyone else worked tirelessly to keep their guests happy.
Hopefully be able to return soon keep up the good work :)

Have recently returned from a 2 week holiday to the Colony Club with my family

The hotel is in one of the best locations along the bay and is very secluded with a great stretch of beach, the room I had was among the best I’ve seen, a perfect mix of traditional feel and modern comforts.

The service however was borderline awful. My poor mum was shushed by one of the lunchtime waitresses and it was beyond believe, I echo similar remarks about how many (not all) of the staff actually make you feel like they are going out of there way massively for a drink or even water !! It’s such a shame because the food was good, the front of house staff however couldn’t be further from the lethargic nature of the waiting staff, alert and eager to help.

The hotel also has a serious lack of energy or fun, this might be perfect for a relaxing holiday however for me it felt like I was dying a slow death of relaxation !!

The hotel has a serious price tag so I expect things to be of high standard and this was not met.

We had an excellent time here. The hospitality is very good and the free excursions were very good which included an Island tour and a visit to St Nicholas Abbey where they make the rum. We opted to DIY our trip to Oistins. Beach is great and the watersports are included. The lagoon pools are a nice feature and there is a water aerobics class once a week. Restaurant is a bit pricey fir dinner but breakfast is a great spread and an egg station which does great omelettes.

A beautiful, relaxing place to stay with a wonderful beach. Great snorkeling. The food is excellent and all the staff are friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a garden view suite which is the biggest room we have ever stayed at. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
