This was our 4th trip to Coyaba Beach Resort and we were delighted to see it just as good as previously.
Hotel set in lovely gardens which lead straight onto Grand Anse Beach (2 miles long and must be one of the best in the Caribbean).
Food very good, choice of 2 restaurants (although both have same menu) which were very comfortable and service great.
Al the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.
Rooms are very comfortable with balconies looking over gardens and sea. Well-equipped and plenty of room. Not luxurious if you're very particular (could perhaps do with being refreshed) but very clean and comfortable.
Very much recommend.

Room tip: Choice of ground or first-floor - both have their advantages - personal choice. All overlook gardens and beach or sea.

Well... What can I add to what everyone is already raving about? The Coyaba is excellent in every sense. We felt so at home, nothing was a problem, time spent here easy and happy! We were lucky enough to meet a lot of wonderful people, the majority of return guests, some being their 16th time!!
We were given ground floor, 128 which was perfect and very close to the beach and main restaurant. Food was really good and the fish dishes particularly so, indeed there is not a huge choice but what there was was very decent. We enjoyed their cocktails and the wines and the after dinner entertainment was very agreeable and most of us were dancing away without a care in the world!
Diving is recommended as is the snorkelling. The excursion to the Union Island then onto the Scaramouch (schooner) Island hopping was brilliant fun and again a small group with a great lunch and drinks and a chance to swim with the turtles was a day to remember for sure (Sunsation tours Via The Virgin Rep, Johanna). Thank you Johanna!
We did try Umbrella's which was a nice change if your are there for a fortnight, like we were.
Yes it is a bit of a long flight with the stop over in St Lucia but it was worth it, especially as its so close to the airport.
A big shout to all the staff there, they work so hard and nothing is too much trouble. always a big smiling face to greet you, which says it all. We would definitely like to return again to the Coyaba!!

Thank you
Until next time
Lucinda and Andy :)

Room tip: All rooms are very close to beach and all facilities

Intro - travelled with BA - first time to this island and this hotel although we have been to many islands in the Carribean. Lovely check in and quick with a nice rum punch on arrival.Got a taxi from the airport standard rate of 40 EC - best to take EC dollars rather than US dollars. Very quick transfer which was a bonus approx 10 mins.
The Accommodation- had a great balcony room with 2 separate double beds - toiletries provided and a great place to see the bats early in the morning or at dusk.Really good fridge and nice extras such as chocs on your pillow at night.Super clean and the cleaner was amazing - had great sleeps.Plent of hot water which was great although reallyas it was so hot you only need tepid water.
Food and Drink- Pool bar the best for drinks in my opinion as it had a bit of a breeze plus you could get sparkling wine with the AI .Breakfast good but my only crticism was the food was quite limited - same in both restuarants -no buffet to help yourself .We had room service a couple of times which costs 10 EC if you are AI
Other info you may find useful
1.Bring EC rather thsn dollars
2.Great shopping mall across the road
3.Very good entertainment in the hotel but not each night
4.Nice gift shop in reception.
5.Great beach
Conclusion- Super hotel if you are aged 65 plus and want peace and quiet but for myself and my husband found it too boring and not enoughfun so won't come back - but the staff were superb

If you want quiet and just beach this place is perfect for you. The location is 10/10.
The hotel itself is clean and tidy and the gardens are beautiful.
Staff are helpful, especially Nigel at the bar.
All the drinks are great, cocktails are average and quite weak but we were not there to get drunk.
The food is in either two places, same menu but we prefers the pool bar. The choice is limited and the food was good. By day 5 I was excited to be going next door to Umbrellas which was really good food. I think the hotel could improve the menu and to have to pay extra for lamb/steak etc is ridiculous when you have paid to go all inclusive. So beware.
Entertainment was quite good. I feel this hotel is aimed at people over 60 years old.
Overall a good hotel but we would not go back.
Grenada is amazing and we would stay at Sandals next time.

We had a large group with a mix of adults and kids. Everyone was very happy. Rooms were good, location great. Food was very average. little selection especially for fresh fruit.
Staff were outstanding. Extremely attentive and kind. Security on the grounds is excellent and especially the flora... big thanks to Shem, who treated me like a brother.
Bartender sheldon was excellent and dwayne the waiter fantastic.
the beach was perfect.
only drawback, come 10:30 pm, no music, and shortly after no drinks, no late night snacks and even the ocean rolled up and left..
Super safe island and great things to do...
if you need a tour guide/driver... ask for Edwin.... best kept secret of the spice island.

Room tip: ground floor, nice walk outs
