We arrived on the 13th March. We were greeted by friendly staff. Our room Oleander suite was lovely with all the facilities needed, and was kept spotlessly clean. The hotel was set right on the beautiful beach in well kept gardens. The food was excellent with a very good choice. All the staff remembered us by name and were very friendly and helpful.
However 5 days into the holiday with the on going threat of the corona virus and many bars and restaurants already closed. Guests were leaving the hotel and nobody was arriving. Facilities stopped ie breakfast lunch and special evening buffets ( a full menu was still offered at dinner) there was no beach service for 2 days until we complained. There was talk of the hotel closing. What was really upsetting, things were being removed and packed away . Tables from the beach, glasses from the bar, one day we had to find sunbeds. On our last day we used the swimming pool the showers in the adjacent toilets were locked. These things should have been done when we left. We felt we had become an inconvenience.
After being recommended and reading glowing reports, we are disappointed that we only experienced a few days.
We wish the management and all staff well in this very uncertain times.More
