We enjoyed our time at Mantra Samui, the staff and location were amazing. They had some of the best views of Koh Samui you could have ever asked for.

This did mean it was a bit difficult to go into Chaweng Beach and Bophut Beach whenever you wanted, but they did supply a good shuttle service with many times to choose from.

It's obvious that its still a new hotel, but I believe that it will only get better with time. It was sometimes difficult to be understood by staff, but they made up for it by going out of their way to make you feel very welcome.

My partner and me were there for 8 nights and it was an amazing experience. The location could be a bit of a problem but we rented scooters (which were quite cheap) to get around town. The staffs were very courteous, always smiling and willing to help. If you try their food go for Thai and asian flavours..other ones could be disappointing. We stayed in "love" room which was quite spacious and had an excellent view. We took the cooking class which happens once a week and yoga class which is everyday, both complimentary and it was really good. The infinity pool is just divine, couldn't get enough of it. Breakfast is very exciting..they have so much variety and its all fresh, eggs are made to order..fruits are very juicy, coffee isn't too bad either. It is quite serene being on the top of a hill and surrounded by nature but its modern at the same time. There is heaps there to indulge yourself in. It is definitely for the people who wants to relax and relax but if you are looking for night outs, parties, noise and all better stay at chaweng or bophut. Those resorts there are much closer to shops, beaches, bars and everything.Overall, Mantra is a unique experience.

Room tip: Love rooms are better though every room has a great view.

Did you see the pix?? Did you like that? Well it's even better :)
As we are still here on our last day, i'm sure i don't need to wait 'till the end, i know we deffenetly will be back! I am sad that it was so short for us.. We saw all that ecxellent reviews and decided to book thet resort for the last days of our vacation. It's alitle expensive so we've only came here for 3 days but surly the best!
Yes it is far from the beaches and restaurants but they are offering a great shuttle service: 10 am, 2pm, 4pm, 8pm to Bophut and 3 times back. And also 11am, 3pm, 5pm, 9pm to Chaweng and back 3 times. It is enough, besides their pool is really big! They have an active bar (unlike all 7 other hotels we've been to) with great drinks, of course expensive but again you have to drink a nice cocktail or fresh shake with that emezing view, day or night.
The WiFi is free everywhere.
The breakfast is the best!!! You can have more then just an omlet/scrumble.. Benedict, royal, florentine. And with a perfect presentaion.
Transportaion from/to the airport. They offer a free transportaion for those who book directly through them insted 800thb (taxi can cost you even more).
Any way, we booked directly 'cause they had better prices! If you find lower price, they'll give a 10% discount for your next visit. And there are more reasons just look in their website.
So... We will be back and it will be for at least a week!
See you ;)

We loved everything about this Resort. The staff could not do enough for you. They always greeted you with a smile and hello. This resort is a great place to just relax, it is not in town, it is in the hills 3 mins drive from Bophut. The pool was so nice and the breakfast was the best we have had anywhere. Hire a scooter for 300 Bt per day from the hotel. Lots of fun and good quality bikes. Great gym gear, a choice of shuttes to different locations. Looking forward to returning here next year.

Room tip: Room 131 - 137 had the most privacy and tremendous view.

I read reviews for months before visiting and thought my expectations would be too high...but not at all! This place is SO welcoming, relaxing and the staff do everything they can to help you and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
We were upgraded for free to the Love room which was a lot nicer than the Wow room. We spent most of our days lazing by the stunning infinity pool and got the free shuttles down to dinner in the evening in Fisherman's Village.
Breakfast was the highlight of every day, their croissants were so delicious and everything they had was fresh and tasty. I loved that eggs are cooked to order so not sitting out and even though bacon isn't on the menu, you can order it anyway!
Staff are friendly and always cheerful. They do everything they can to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, mostly complimentary.
I would love to stay at Mantra again. The location is a little difficult asyou cannot walk to any shops but this wasn't a surprise and the free shuttles are a huge help.

Thank you Mantra for making this a beautiful trip with so many precious memories for us!
