Perfect place to spend relaxing holidays. Great location to discouver the Toscane by car. Monica and Andrea were perfect hosts for us. Everything was perfect and the local diner wae more than delicious. If we had the chance to come back to Toscane we would love to stay again at "La Pieve"

A truly fantastic place to stay! We were in Italy attending a friends wedding in Florence but didn't want to be stuck in the hustle and bustle with our 2 year old son and after hours of searching online came across this little gem, a 20 minutes drive away. The place was perfect for what we wanted.........lots of open space for our son to enjoy, a pool and amazing hosts. As soon as we arrived Monica, Andrea and Marta made us feel very welcome. Within a few days it felt like we were staying with a long lost relative. Monica's cooking was also stunning, i would recommend this place in a heartbeat..... perfect.

Stunningly restored stone farmhouse with picture perfect views of the tuscan hills. Monica and Andres are incredible hosts, warm and very engaging and helpful and Monica's cooking provided us with some of the most delicious meals of our trip. You must have a car to access, but it is easy to take the train into Florence for the day. I wish I were still there!

Room tip: Blue room is a little more expensive but views and charm are worth it!

Lovely restaurated by the owners this place is a real oasis. In a historical building, simple but cosy, your body and soul can relax. Monica also cooked for our families very nice dinners so that we could enjoy the stay in the evenings without having to leave. The rooms are authentic and we had a very good rest. In the middle of nature even the little difficult road to this nice place doesnt matter at last.

Room tip: For families with children there is a nica room with a balcony in it.

I absolutely loved my stay at La Pieve. I had been staying in Florence for a few nights beforehand and wanted desperately to get out of the city and into the Tuscan countryside. Did I get what I asked for!

First off, the family that runs the place is wonderful. Good food and impeccable service was the order of day (to be expected of course) but their natural warmth and hospitality made truly made the experience a memorable one.

The grounds themselves are also stupendous. You have a great view of the famous hills, of course, and the area is rich with olive trees, cypresses and other growth. There are also several animals on the grounds, and you can arrange to take the horses on a gallop around the place.

The living arrangements are cozy (very Tuscan) with hand-carved wooden tables and bedframes (though the bathrooms are certainly modern). There is wireless internet, so you're not totally cut off, but I wasn't indoors enough to appreciate it.

5/5 for being a great all-around experience for my girlfriend and I. Beautiful scenery, wonderful hosts, comfortable living. Going back as soon as I get the chance.
