Walking down the road at Fisherman's Village at night is one experience every traveler to Samui should have. Very few places I know have so many good restaurants in such a small area and there is always a good vibe amongst the strollers in the Village. For some, it may seem to be a bit too crowded, but I like the vibrant activity and the buzz amongst the holidaymakers visiting the restaurants or just walking past the stalls that sell almost everything you can find to buy on Samui.

Fun relaxed atmosphere. Great restaurants on the beach. Way more easy to get around than Bangkok or Chawng.

Place full of cool bars and restaurants. A little bit more expensive then the rest of the island but still prices are reasonable.

A huge array of shops and restaurants that you could visit every day for a month and not get bored.

Has a weekly market on Fridays with additional stalls (and crowds) but also worth making the time for. Annoying they don’t close it off to traffic (except on Fridays). Plenty of tailors if you fancy a cheap suit!
