We visited the Bhoput Fisherman's Village on a Friday night for the street markets. We were staying at Centara Villas some 45 minutes away but im so glad we travelled the distance; great shopping we saw a lot of really Different items on sale that we haven't seen in shops anywhere else in Thailand i read in an earlier & have to agree that if you see an item you want here take my advice & buy it chances are you may not see it again... plenty of local foods off street vendors catered to us farrang. Also a lot of cocktail vendors selling popular cocktails for 50baht try the mojito's :)
This place is worth the trip, we spent over 4 hours just walking along the streets eating, drinking & shopping.
Really good atmosphere on a Friday night, walking street is full of stalls selling delicious and cheap food and drink. Have a few cocktails watching people set off lanterns on the beach as the sun sets.
We went in low season, so things were quite quiet, lovely restaurants, bars and street markets. The side exit is also near cafe 69 which is the best restaurant in koh samui.
Night markets on Friday were well worth it great local food served in the street . But also nice restaurants .
Really enjoyed Fishermans Village especially the night market on a Friday. Lots of people selling all sorts of things. Plus lots of food options cooked fresh in front of you. It was very busy when we were there and the atmosphere was great. The restaurants along the road are also open. Pick up some cocktails for 50 Baht. We had fun.
