This small restaurant in an unprepossessing location is a truly great find.
The menu is extensive, offering meat, fish, and vegetarian options.
Great starters: we shared a smooth hummus, spiced with cumin and paprika served with hot pitta sprinkled with herbs, and a generous portion of Kalamata olives.
For a main course, one of us had the beef moussaka, layered with aubergine and topped with potato: truly delicious. The other had a Greek salad with feta: great quality tomatoes - probably the freshest we have had in our 3 weeks on the island.
The portions are large, but we could not resist the organic Greek yogurt (which other visitors have described). Fi sell it in tubs, so having had a taste at the table, we bought a kilo to bring back to our room: rich and creamy, no sugar/sweetener, and wonderfully indulgent.
Very reasonably priced.
If you care about good fresh food, eat here: it's not pretentious, but simply high quality.
