No admission charge, so you are free to walk around the ruins. There's a small stand outside the ruins, where Estonian handcrafts (mainly things made from juniper wood) are sold.

Maasilinn is a really old fort/castle that's kind of falling apart, but you're still allowed to climb inside and explore its innards, which makes you feel like you're in a video game or movie, looking for some lost artefact. The view over the sea is pleasant, as well.

From above it looks like the castle is completely ruined.it still looks awesome of course .
However, when U going down upstairs you are getting real ''deal'' how big it was, full of life etc.
Ps the place needs donations to re-descover and historical reconstruction. Please dont hesitate to put some pennies in de barrel

I liked being inside the castle and explore those passages. On the top is a nice view to the sea. Loved it!

The building at the Maasi fortification has been ruins for almost 509 years but it was fascinating to see the vaulted cellar in such a good shape. The old lady at the souvenir kiosk volunteered information about the place and how to explore it.
