Wonderful beach with great sand and little restaurants nearby. It does get deep pretty quick but our little girl loved it. Very clean and clear water. Water temp is cool but still fine.

We visited in August. The sand is great and very clean. The sea was freezing. Can get quite windy, which means lots of sand around. Few shops and restaurants near by too.

Nice beach to walk and hang out on. Rock formations are interesting and make for nice scenery while walking.

Great beach (as most beaches are in the Algarve). Not overly busy, plenty of golden sand and perfect clear blue water. Quite easy to park, although streets are a little narrow, we arrived at 2pm (ish) and still managed to find a space on the car park. It was a little blustery, but if you walk up towards the area of the beach which is sheltered by the cliffs this really does shelter you from any strong gusts. Local shops/cafe are amazing. Toasted Ham and Cheese sandwiches from 2.00E.

We have spent part of our summer here for two years. We love it, even though it is more crowded this year....
