5 star reviews seem to be common place, and every now and then you stay at a hotel that truly deserves it 5 star status. Grau Roig Hotel is definitely one of these. From the outset at the booking they were fantastic as it was our daughters 8 year old birthday whilst we were staying and they really went the extra mile to ensure that birthday cakes, etc were all going to be sorted. Upon arrival the staff were fantastic and continued to be so throughout our stay, whether this was front desk, cleaners, management and within the dining area.

Food was divine - worthy of a Michelin star! Breakfast was just wonderful, evening meals outstanding.

Finally the surrounding area, after all this is one of the reasons why we booked it. There are several helpful guides to local walks including a fantastic easy walk (ideal with children) up to a lake which has a wonderful café next to it.

Please note that there are no cable cars that run from the Grau Roig Hotel during the summer months.

A huge thank you to Rita who was just wonderful during our stay and made us feel very special

Room tip: Room 312 was stunning

This was a small but well appointed room. It was a fresh, fun and sexy room. The hotel
has lots of fur, brass and wooden accents. And our small balcony looked over the ski slope. If you go there out of ski season plan some time for hiking. The hiking is beautiful and well worth staying an extra night or two to really explore.

Our very favorite part of the hotel was the FOOD!!!!! Breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was even better and the wine theater was magnificent. The main course was venison to die for. Truly one of the best meals we’ve had. It deserves recognition from Michelin.

Bonus was being woken up by meandering cows with cow bells.

Wow, what a fabulous find! Booked a family room for two nights last minute on our month long family road trip, and it’s been our absolutely favourite hotel so far!! The stunning location, beautiful rooms, wonderful staff, great spa and delicious food made it a short stay to remember. We were even able to charge our electric car. Will definitely be back!

We drove to Andorra simply because we had not been there before and we were close by. We knew nothing about the country and researched a few of the towns and hotels. I found I really did not want to stay directly on the main road as so many of the hotels are positioned. This hotel looks brand new, was off the road at the base of a ski area and had an insanely good restaurant. We were happy with the laid back vibe and quality of the hotel.

Stayed here in august and were inspired by nature. So many fantastic views nearby: waterfalls, mountain lakes. Hotel is a really boutique, very stylish and cosy. Restaurant is also great. Breakfast is various. Also we enjoyed our dinner! We hope to come back in winter time the next visit!
