We just returned from 7 nights at the Pacific Resort. We had a family room, close to the beach but not beach front.
Our experience here was exceptional!
Wonderful friendly staff, always more than happy to help.
Lovely clean and tidy rooms, spacious bathroom.
The gardens are gorgeous, so well maintained.
The food and service at the beachfront barefoot bar/restaurant was excellent - great cocktails!
Location is perfect, the beautiful Muri beach! We made use of the complimentary Sup, kayaks and snorkel gear.
The local food market and some great cafes are only a short walk away.
Don't hesitate to stay here....best resort on the island!

We stayed for 5 nights. We booked a Beachfront Suite but were put in a Garden Room located on the beachfront. The difference in the furnishings and size of the rooms is very different. When I bought it to the resorts attention they offered to move us to the correct room type but didn't have availability until the next day. The price difference for the two rooms means I was a bit disappointed we didnt get the full 5 nights in the type of room we paid for. So be careful, rooms 13 and 14 are on the beachfront but ARE NOT Beachfront Suites as pictured on the website.

We enjoyed using the paddle boards and kayaks and went out to the island opposite the resort.

The restaurant was good, the buffet breakfast was included in our room rate and there was a large selection to fill up on. The dinners were really nice too and we had one server that was above and beyond the rest - I'm so sorry I cannot remember his name :(

Great cocktails!

We enjoyed massages which were lovely too.

Make sure you check your bill, some of the discounts we were supposed to get were missed off. This was rectified immediately when I pointed it out which was great.

Pacific Resort has the best people working there. Thank you so much Anal, Bianca and the team at the restaurant and bar. You are so welcoming, friendly and professional. The snokeling tour with Gary was the highlight of my kids trip. Thanks you Gary. You are knowledgeable and awesome to deal with.
Thank you Pacific Resort for the wonderful memories and we will defiantly be coming back. Nothing was ever a problem.

We stayed at Te Manava Luxury Villas during our stay in Rarotonga which is an affiliated hotel to the Pacific Resort - this means we got to enjoy all the amenities of the Pacific Resort as well. The highlight was most definitely the snorkeling cruise which leaves from the hotel and gets you to a marine reserve. Great snorkeling experience!

Just returned to NZ after staying at the Pacific Resort Rarotonga for 7 nights. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and after 3 trips to Rarotonga staying at various places I can say the staff at the Pacific Resort are exceptional.

We stayed in a standard studio room and the hotel staff set us up with a porta cot for our 1 year old. The room was well serviced and we had no complaints about the facilities. However, room 25's bathroom is still old (wouldn't have known that unless if gone into my parent's studio room @33). It was absolutely fine though and neat and today.

The staff were very friendly and took great care of us. They loved our little girl and made her feel really special.

The gardens are beautiful and the property is maintained to an exceptional standard.

Continental breakfast every morning was great - a nice range of options with plenty of tropical fruit to enjoy. Food at the restaurant was also really good - comparable to NZ I think the prices are pretty fair for the most part.

You won't be short of things to do at the Pacific Resort. You have so many options to enjoy the lagoon including snorkelling, canoes, paddle boards, and other planned activities to participate in.

Now that I've experienced the studio room, I would recommend to other young families with babies that need nap time to book a room with a separate space for baby to settle, not an open space. I'd go for the standard family room next time as the layout would suit us better - I should've thought more about that in hindsight - not the hotel's fault.

Thanks team for an amazing holiday. You were all so friendly and welcoming and we had a fabulous stay with you. The farewell yesterday by Brittany on the bus was a lovely touch!

We will definitely return after baby number 2. If you have a loyalty programme, please let us know so we are aware for our next booking.
