Recently opened at Six Mens, North of Speightstown, this is the latest addition to the Nikki Beach brand of beach clubs, generally favoured by the younger, upmarket clientele.

On a Sunday in Barbados in January, the lunch group were a more mature mix of both local Barbadians and visitors.

While the menu is good quality beach club rather than high-end restaurant, the fish, sushi and salads were tastefully presented and tasteful to consume. With a varied wine list and friendly service, this was a good choice for Sunday lunch in the sun.

Having recently opened, there were one or two teething problems with the service and the staff were challenged to keep the tablecloths in place in the brisk, but pleasant breeze; these will almost certainly be under control as time progresses.

On the downside, our request for local tap water as declined by our waitress as there were issues with "contamination".

This venue captures all the features of other Nikki Beach clubs with polite and efficient valet parking, friendly front of house staff, quality but unobtrusive music and live art.

In Barbados, this venue is likely to be a little different from some of the other Nikki Beach clubs with a more mature, restrained and sophisticated clientele.

Dear Angus,

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We truly value the feedback we receive from clients.

We are quickly becoming one of the most popular locations in Barbados.

The reason for you not being able to receive tap water on your visit is due to the recent health advisories issued in UK, Canada and USA regarding the current sewage/water issues on the island. The health, safety and well-being of our clients is of utmost importance to us and drinking tap water is not recommended.

We do hope to welcome you back in the near future.

Kind regards,

The Nikki Beach Barbados Team

By far the newest buzziest, liveliest place on the island!
Amazing, energysing and uplifting experience. Went back and back for more!
Amazing food, amazing drink and the atmosphere is just FANTASTIC! The waiters were chirpy happy entertaining and engaged in conversations and more.... danced the rain showers away....and begged for more! Fab music! Great location and what sunsets!
Well done to everyone there!
Just to recap: superb food and even better atmosphere! Bravo!

Beautiful venue and good music. Drinks were expensive, which would be fine if they were good however ours tasted and looked like a glass of orange juice. Also found a couple of the waiters to be a little arrogant/unfriendly. Noticed when we were paying the waiter wondered around with our change for ages, I assume hoping we’d leave so he could pocket it.

We found places like Mullins to be much better value, better drinks and more down to earth vibe.

Thank Mike C

Dear Mike,

Thank you for your review, great to hear you enjoyed our venue and music.

We are happy to say that we receive good feedback about our service, however based on your comment we have set up additional trainings this week to remind our staff of our standards.

Our drink prices are in line with similar establishments on the West Coast, as per your further feedback received about the Barbados Jewel cocktail, this is the first time it is not of the liking of a customer, we are also repeating the training with our team this week to make sure the recipe is followed.

Thank you again for your feedback. We do hope to be able to welcome you back for a cocktail tasting.

Kind regards,

The Nikki Beach team

It is a pleasant space with attentive staff. Unfortunately the food does not live up to the image it is trying to create. Burgers and Pizzas is not fine dining and the rest of the menu is very average. Very expensive for what is on offer.
A Banks beer at $16 Barbados is a nothing short of obscene.
We had previously eaten at the "Lone Star" which does serve excellent food and less expensive.
Simply,it is is not worth anything like the prices they are charging.
You decide !!

Dear Barry and Liz,

Thank you for your feedback. Great to hear that you enjoyed our venue and staff. I am sorry you did not find a dish of your liking on our menu. The burgers and pizzas are very popular, but we also serve a selection of salads, pastas, sushi, a raw bar, rotisserie, catches of the day, various meat options, etc. It is the first time I have heard this comment, so please let us know which type of dish you believe is missing and I will happily discuss it with the Chef. In regard to the drinks, our wine starts at $20 per glass and is in line with other similar establishments on the West Coast.

Again, thank you for providing us with details, so that we can give our clients the best experience possible at Nikki Beach Barbados.

Warm regards,

Marie-Claire

What a breath of fresh air for barbados.
Beautiful building and so well thought out.
Nice pool and bed facility.
Excellent restaurant.

We had a brilliant meal, quick efficient service with beautiful food, I recommend the sexy salad and the chicken satay. Possibly the best food served on the island at the moment.
Others in our party had the chicken which was beautifully presented, such a brilliant change from just plonked on a plate establishments which claim to be 4 star!!

We will definitely be back and hope that the quality and service remain.
