It's all been said in the other reviews, but for the record, we agree with all comments. Very clean, comfortable and NO disappointments AT ALL!
We very happily recommend Clan Cottages to everyone. The welcome from Mary and John could not have been warmer. We had scarcely driven on to the site when they both appeared to show us the cottage and give us the key. A complimentary bottle of wine awaited us, as did the makings for tea and coffee - milk in the fridge and a selection of biscuits on the table. Lots of informative leaflets, books, brochures etc about places to go and things to see. Even the ducks and chickens made us welcome!
Just one suggestion - could you move it all a few hundred miles further south please??? (Joke!!!) It was about an eight hour drive from our home in Derbyshire.

Although this was a short stay we enjoyed it immensely. Recharged our batteries! The cottages continue to maintain the high standards and the extra little touches are much appreciated. Stunning views, friendly wildlife (ducks and hens), comfortable bed and peace and quiet are all to be expected. We have stayed on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. we have already booked another stay. Clan Cottages are highly recommended by us.

Thank you to Mary and family for an amazing two weeks in McDougall cottage. In a nutshell: idyllic location, loch, mountains, big skies, chickens, ducks, toys, DVDs, rowing boat, private garden, BBQ. Our cottage was immaculate with everything we needed for a family of four, including a bottle (or two) of complimentary wine and a jacuzzi bath (much adored by our children). Lots to do in the Oban area for adults and kids. Incredibly peaceful location in which you feel instantly at home. Didn't want to leave. Hope to return. Just book it.

Clan Cottages are truly beautiful. A gloriously peaceful location just outside of Oban. The cottages are wonderfully appointed and the location is spectacular, alongside a small Loch. The free to use row boat offered hours of fun, exploring this stunning place. We will be back!
