this was one of the four spots they showed us in pelling. was a nice place of worship spread over two floors. has a nice sacred air about it, and also contains old relics and items of worship.

This was my 3rd visit here, it is located at a distance of 3kms from Pelling. One feels relaxed and quiet when you visit here, it has a lot of relics dating back to 15th-16th century BC.

Easy to access by car with a car park right by the entrance.
There's a 20 rupees charge to enter.
The main building is beautiful and my young kids thought so too. Top floor has a remarkable structure that you could spend ages looking at.
You get some great views from here too.
Probably don't need more than an hour.

Considered to be one of the oldest monastry. Second floor has artifacts from previous centuries. Worth a visit

This was my favourite Monastery in my trip to Sikkim. Usually quiet although there are times when tour groups descend in large numbers. The artefacts and cultural objects on display are very interesting as are the visual representations.
