Great place to visit. Although it is being repaired it's a great spot along the way to take a few snaps.

We were unlucky. When we reached the bridge it started raining. So we could not experience the bridge. From a distance just saw the bridge. View was nice.

It is one of the highest suspension bridges in the world, this was 3rd Visit here. Earlier they used to allow vehicles to cross the bridge but now they do not allow vehicles on the bridge. The view from the bridge of the underneath valleys and waterfalls are breath taking. A must visit..

Road driving distance of Singshore Bridge from Pelling bazaar is about 28 km. We are informed that it is the highest bridge of Sikkim (India) and second highest gorge bridge in Asia. From the momento plates affixed on the sides of the bridge, we understand that it was built about 17 years back for vehicles to connect two hills. When we reached there in March 2018, some repair work was going on; and it was closed for vehicles. However, we were allowed to walk down the bridge The sight of the hills and the river from the middle of the bridge is fascinating. The structure looks fragile and self-resonance, and is an architectural wonder. It is so beautiful..We werfe informed that the government of Sikkim is likely to set Bungee jumping activities on the bridge. Close to the bridge on the Pelling side are Begha and Uttarey village, One can have Tradition al Newari Food there; and also enjoy Rhododendron Wine and also purchase locally processed ‘Organic Black Cardamom’. The bridge gave us a unique sense of adventure.
