this was the third spot for tourism in Pelling. there is a bird aviary coexisting with the ruins. the aviary is nothing great and you only find a few pheasants there. would probably be better once they put more birds in, but the ruins are interesting as they were once the capital before it got shifted. only thing is there is decent walk of about three quarters of a kilometer slightly uphill. once there, you get a lovely view from the top.
