This hotel is a lovely mix of authentic heritage, working farm and modern progression. It is part of the Marharajah's Palace. We had a wonderful room, with a eclectic mix of furniture and furnishings. We were lucky to meet the Maharani and her super cute daughter, who was very charming and interesting on life for a modern Marharajah. We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it and would have happily stayed a bit longer as there is lots to explore at the hotel and a short walk into the village.

We stayed 2 nights, experiencing a truly charming, attentive hospitality. The family was explaining the different heritages, origins of the place, showing us the vintage cars and enabling the kids to go horse riding.

Staff is caring, genuine and the young owner's wife created even a special milk shake for the kids.

The buffet food and dinner set up is a true testimony to the previous classic dining times. You can pre order lunch as per your tastes and preferred timings.

The swimming pool is great to counter balance the heat, it was more than 44 degrees and therefore we enjoyed the freshness.

Our room was grand , we felt like stepping back in time.

This is a location to be reminded of the great historic heritage present in India.

We spent two nights in this hotel which forms a part of the Marharajah's Palace which is set on a 40 acre site and includes a farm with animals and produce. The current Marharajah and his wife and daughter were often in the hotel and were happy to chat about the hotel and their lives.

It was built in the 1930s in old colonial style. The furnishings and decor in each room are different depending on their original usage. We had a lounging bed, chair and table outside our room for our own personal use which was lovely. The room had air conditioning which could be controlled by remote control. There was also an electric mosquito repellent available.

The hotel is clean and there is plenty of hot water all day. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The restaurant serves buffet style food which was well cooked and tasty. Internet is available but only in the courtyard and lobby.

All the staff were pleasant and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Be aware that this hotel is not able to change foreign currency.
