Nice hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is clean and spacious, and some of the staff was very polite and courteous, especially Diana, who took the trouble to make my stay more comfortable. They arranged for a thin, cotton mattress for me upon request, but I found that their regular mattress on the other bed was also quite good too. They also gave me a good discount of 15% on their normal rate when I extended my stay. The breakfast had limited variety, but they have a very good menu and the cook does a good job. The food is fresh and tasty. Rooms are clean and spacious and well-furnished, as is the bathroom.
Some things still need to improve, though, and I have suggested those things to them: (1) The toilet flush is not very powerful and needs to be replaced/improved. (2) The window AC is not very powerful/cold and they should replace it with a good quality new split AC instead. Split ACs take up less electricity/power, and will not take up so much load either, especially given the power cuts in Dimapur. (3) They should offer some variety in the breakfast instead of the same thing every morning, and also offer lighter dishes for breakfast (upma/poha/idli/vegetarian toast sandwiches/pancakes/egg), as having chhole bhatura might not be a good choice in the morning. Else, they should give the option of a cheaper rate without breakfast so...Nice hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. Else, they should give the option of a cheaper rate without breakfast so one can then order stuff a la carte. (4) Wi Fi is a bit slow and needs to be improved. (5) They need an automatic generator as one of the other reviewers mentioned, because the staff has to keep turning it on and off manually when the power goes off. (6) They should provide a microwave in the room, as they refused to re-heat stuff, including the tea, when it got cold. Even the omelette was often served cold, and they refused to replace or heat it. (7) The male staff is sometimes not very responsive, and they tend to provide contrary information to what has been said earlier. This needs to change.
Overall, I liked this place. Nice and friendly people, and well-made, tasty, and fresh food. Loved the paneer cutlet and spicy Naga chutney. The windows have effective soundproofing. I would visit again if they improve on the above issues.More
